Quiet getaway

My husband and I picked this property for the lake views and we were not disappointed! We woke up everyday to a beautiful view and got to see stunning sunsets every evening. The property suited us perfectly. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of local things to explore. We did come during the hottest week in Vermont so not having AC was a little sweaty but the cabin has a lot of windows and fans that created some great breezes that cooled down once the sun set. We used the grill a few nights in a row and took advantage of the lounge chairs by the lake. Jan and Vern were gracious hosts who checked on us to make sure we were doing ok. We had a great campfire our last night on the lake thanks to Vern gathering some dead branches for us. The property is about 10-15 minutes from Swanton which has a grocery store and a nice Creemee stand. Wonderful place to kick back and enjoy Vermont.
