There is plenty of room for your friends and family to enjoy this spectacular Estate, which has more than 60 trees on 1.2 acres, including a trickling stream and Gazebo in the backyard, which is fenced in for children.
Enjoy the spacious open floor plan with Gourmet Kitchen and two dining rooms for cooking or bringing home take-out. Warm up next to the crackling fireplace, watch the Big Screen TV. The Estate comes fully equipped with clean linens, towels, cooking utensils, spices, appliances, 3 TVs, Spa, Pool Table and Internet.
There are three large bedrooms including the Master Suite, which is located downstairs on the ground floor. The Master Suite has a California King Bed, large walk-in closet, and an en-suite Master bath which has a Spa bathtub and walk-in shower. Open the sliding patio doors of your Master Suite and onto your own deck to enjoy a Hot Tub Spa under the Whispering Pines.
Upstairs there are 2 large Bedrooms and a Loft. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the other bedroom has one double bed and bunk bed. These two bedrooms have their own separate sink areas and share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
The upstairs Loft area has a Queen pull out bed, electric fireplace, TV area and a game table to play cards and board games. The living room also has a Queen pull-out bed. We also keep a top-of-the-line blow up bed in the upstairs closet.
Strategically located, you will be just 1 mile to Big Bear Lake and minutes to ski resorts, golf course, and downtown stores. Beautiful, serene setting. It is all waiting for you only a couple of hours away! (From LA or Orange County) Plenty of parking space for cars, boats, and RVs, right outside on the large, dual-entry driveway.

Welcome to Big Bear Lake, California. Big Bear is a small community that sits in the mountains above the city of San Bernardino. You can hike in the beautiful National Forest or grab your bike for a trip on one of the many riding trails. If you want to get wet, take a boat on the lake for a leisurely afternoon of fishing or swimming. Plenty of places to breathe the fresh air and enjoy the blue skies. If you like skiing, snowboarding or just playing in the snow, there are two ski resorts and two snow play areas for the whole family to enjoy. There are several restaurants to choose from ranging from fast food to fancy dining. If you're looking for a peaceful quiet afternoon, grab a hot dog and head to the lake or local park to read and relax!

Everything was awesome. Whispering Pines is everything that it is advertised to be. The home is beautiful. The property is beautiful. Loved the back yard trees. Communication through email was so efficient I had no need to ask any questions. Thank you. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Beautiful Relaxing Home
We really enjoyed the beautiful home and property. Any issues were immediately resolved. They were very flexible with check in and check out times which made it easier when dealing with children. The home was extremely comfortable with endless storage space. The property is beyond stunning and a great place to play and relax.

This house and property is amazing. The grounds are well manicured and park like. The house accommodations are beautifully decorated and the bathrooms are incredible with soaking tub and dual showers. Laurie is an amazing person who accommodated our every request. I had my wedding at her Bed and Breakfast Inn, Apples. Which is also incredible. My entire family and wedding party stayed at her 4 VRBOs and accommodated 32 people in total. I would not have changed a thing as everything was picturesque, beautiful, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend her VRBOs and her bed and breakfast inn which also has the very best food. I’m looking forward to celebrating our anniversary there too.

We planned a Big Bear trip in late March with the expectation that there would still be snow, *sigh, there was no snow other than snow summit. Our faulty planning, which gave us a major let down, but this house rental, was just, perfect!! Made our trip worth while. Everything from the check-in instructions to the flexible check-out was a breeze. Instructions were down to a T, have question? Read the email or the cute index album left on the kitchen counter. Amazing house sooo roomy, the backyard alone was suffice enough for our trip to be exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms stocked, and clean sheets galore. Everything was clean! Just amazing and dreamy rental!! Definitely will be booking in the future again!

What a stunning home this is, so picturesque.
Such a fantastic week we had as a family. The home is so well maintained and extremely comfortable for a family of 8. All the creature comforts of home are available. We love cooking and the kitchen was well stocked. The grounds are just so spectacular, plenty of room to move about and explore, play lawn games. Our "littles" childern were in search of bears in the woods, with their little lanterns, priceless. What a splendid place to be able to sit out back on the veranda, sipping our morning coffee and listening to the stream, babbling. So peaceful, it simply takes your breath away, with the crisp clean air and the breeze rustling through the pine trees. Plus this home is convenient to everything, a short 5 minutes to the village, slopes, hiking and marina. Bring your mountain bikes and clubs, a couple of family members said the 9 hole golf course was fast. We were so sorry to have to leave. Definitely be coming back.

Large, comfortable...everything you would want in a BB stay!
Stayed 2 nights with 7 other guys for a church retreat and had a great time. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and everything you need to enjoy some time in the mountians. Excellent communication with the owners. Only small issue was small bunk beds (obviously made for families with kids). The property is as advertised.

Winter Wonderland
The Whispering Pines Estate is something from a dream when covered in fresh snow! The wooded backyard had two ponds, a playground, gazebo and endless space to play! Our kids were in heaven, sledding, building snowmen, throwing snowballs and playing hide and seek in the pines. The home itself is lovely. The kitchen was spacious and featured high end appliances, the bedrooms were roomy with ample closet space, the bunk bed was a hit with the kids as was the jacuzzi tub! The location was prime. Less than 10 minute drive to Snow Summit ski resort, tubing hills, and downtown area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit Whispering Pines Estate in the Spring too!
