Imagine going back in time. This is the original Fox Farm 3 acre Estate, with 3 Houses and original Barn. The Estate has been recently remodeled keeping its charm intact. Sleeps 20 with lots of parking.
It is aCRAFTERS RETREAT!
Enjoy 10,000 square feet of a grass covered yards with top of the line outdoor furniture, including a children’s play area with swing set and teeter totter, and its own sled hill. There is a ski storage room and snow removal is included in the winter.
Sleeping arrangements:
House 1
There are 3 bedrooms with 3 1/2 bathrooms:
• The Master bedroom has a Queen bed and a private bathroom.
• One upstairs Guest bedroom has 1 Queen bed and 1 double bed
• The upstairs 'Bunk Room' is complete with 4 twin beds plus TV, DVD, VCR.
House 2
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms

House 3
, Is over the garage. It is an enormous Loft with a King bed, a trundle, and a Queen pull out couch.
Enjoy movies by the wood burning fireplace in the Living Room, which has a large flat screen TV/DVD. The large Farm House kitchen with dishwasher has a convenient half bath plus a spacious Sun Room to enjoy your morning coffee while overlooking the grounds.
Kids and adults will enjoy the downstairs Game Room / Play Room, complete with pool table, flat screen TV/DVD and foosball table; plus a Washer and Dryer and a second full size Refrigerator for extra food and drink storage. Internet Access and free WIFI is included.
Guests are provided soap, towels, shampoo and bedding. Guests required to put all dirty linens by the washer machine when they leave and all dishes in the dishwasher running. It is understood that the premises will be left in a neat and orderly condition, free of debris.
Convenient access to outdoor activities such as mountain biking, zip lining hiking, golf, horseback riding fishing, sailing or wakeboarding. The Estate is off Fox farm and is 2 minutes from the market and 3 minutes from both ski hills and 4 minutes from the village where there are boutique shops restaurants, theatres and a bowling alley. Lot next door leads to great hiking. This convenient location is only a couple minutes to the slopes at Bear Mountain and a few minutes to the village, skiing or restaurants.
Year round recreation area located at 7,000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains northeast of Los Angeles. There is a taxi in town. A rental car is needed if coming into the area by plane.
The Caretaker lives two houses away and is on call if help is needed. There is no smoking allowed inside and no pets allowed.
WEDDINGS - Although Country Barn Estate is not licensed for events, we ARE licensed for weddings and events for up to 100 guests one mile down the road at Apples Bed & Breakfast Inn, a property we also own. Apples B&B is a uniquely charming, two-story Victorian with craftsman style that provides a romantic garden setting surrounded by tall pines and wedding Gazebo, the perfect destination venue for weddings. Apples Inn offers a Wedding Suite, in-room massage and delicious home cooking! If you get married in the Big Bear area, please consider my estate for your lodging and Apples Bed & Breakfast as your venue.

Great for family vacation!
The only thing that could have made this place better would have been more snow! The property is so perfect for a winter getaway. You can even sled on the large property, but unfortunately for us, most the snow was gone. I would also recommend bringing extra towels for the hot tub outside. This house was well stocked with anything you could need and had lots of great thought and detail put into the amenities (like shampoo, etc available in case you forgot, detailed instructions for spa, grill was clean). If we have a large group again, we would definitely stay at this property.

Beautiful property. Especially fun for a family.
This is a beautiful property consisting of more than just a rental house. The grounds are safe for children to play- there even is a play structure for little ones. In the winter, there also is a sledding hill, which is also fun for children. Both houses on the property are well appointed with all the kitchen and bath necessities. The check in and check procedures are made to be most convenient, and there is always someone to call if there is a problem of any kind. We have stayed at this property three times now and have never encountered a problem. We hope to return again to this wonderful place for a family get away.

Great property for a family getaway!!!
We had a great time while staying at this property. The kids loved the swing set and the concrete driveway for them to ride scooters! The owners were very nice as well!! We will definitely be back!!!

A True Paradise
There are not a lot of words to explain this wonderful place. It was more than we could have asked for. 3 very unique, separate retreats for multiple families. This place is a true treasure. A great place for family retreats for sure. We were totally blessed by coming here. Completely exceeded our expectations. Great yard for kids to play, game room, and plenty of room for everyone.

Christmas Vacation
We had such a wonderful time staying here at the Country Barn Estate. The place was spotless clean when we arrived, everything worked just fine. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and even with their own bathrooms. My kids had a blast outside on the playground and playing basketball on the court they have. Our stay was so comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves very much. It is super close to the village which was nice and super close to the market. The only thing I would have a ( I wouldn't even call it a complaint ) I guess something I would like them to have, is a small toaster and if they would allow more people to stay instead of 16. We would have loved to have more of our family experience this wonderful trip we had with us. Other than that we were already talking about renting it out next year.
