Very Well maintained, Non-Smoking home in an upscale subdivision close to shopping and day trips into GA, TN and NC and be home at night. This home features easy access, low on the mountain on a 2 lane paved road with no scary drops. we are 5.5 miles from the center of Hiawassee, GA too. Free long distance in US and wi fi/ DSL internet. Also has comfy king-size beds in all three bedrooms along with seperate bathrooms and each bedroom is private from the other bedrooms. Large fully supplied kitchen, with Master bedroom, living room and dining room looking out over lake Chatugue. Living room also features a romantic fireplace.
Front and back porch have tables and chairs and back porch can only be accessed from inside our home and is large with a great view of the lake and marina. You will be delighted to watch a gorgeous sunset on your back porch in your rocking chairs while you sit back and relax with a glass of good Georga wine or start your day having coffee on the back porch while watching the mist over the lake. Subdivision has a two lane paved road and very easy access with plenty of parking out front. We supply games, puzzels, books to read, an information binder that gives you information on restaurants, tourist information, hiking, waterfall trips and anything you need to make your vacation the best ever. There is a multi plex theater nearby, a play ground and a swimming area with food and restrooms within 10 minutes of our home along with the GA fairgrounds with entertainment. Also many golf courses , hiking and boating. Day trip all over the place from this central location too. You will be amazed at how close you are to so many tourist locations and yet you can be home at night. Our home will feel like your home, as people come back year after year to enjoy our home. Cozy enough for one couple to enjoy a romantic get away or a family get together. You will be surprised at how wonderful this home is for such a great price. Vacation in the mountains
We had a great vacation, the house was fantastic!!! The home was spacious and comfortable. View of the lake was beautiful and there was a flock of wild turkeys in the back yard. Kitchen was easy to cook in and fully equipped. The fireplace was great at on the chilly nights when we were there. The home is close to Jackrabbit mountain for hiking and mountain biking. I would rent it again.

Wonderful holiday vacation!
My family stayed over Christmas and had a wonderful time! I cooked full holiday meals and found the kitchen to be very well stocked and beyond my expectations! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Excellent House, Amazing View
We stayed for a week, four adults and three kids. The first thing you notice when you first come in is this doesn't feel like a rental. You can tell this is home belongs to someone and is very well cared for. It is very warm and inviting. Then you get the view. There may be the same view from another house but there is not a better one. Sunrise over the mountain can't be described with words. If the weather had permitted I don't know if we would have seen the inside of the house! Nice big deck, part covered and part open. The house has just about everything you need. Tv, wifi, a nice selection of books and a board game collection that something to behold. If you stay with Christine you won't be disappointed. We are already planning to come back.

Great location.
Nice floor plan. I rented this home because of the 3 bedrooms all with king size beds. Great view and convenient location. Would definitely rent again. Kitchen is supplied with everything you will need away from home.

Chrissy's Xanadu stay
Couldn't have asked for a better location and with all the comforts of home. The collection of movies is second to none, and kids absolutely loved picking one or two out each night. And if you enjoy family time including puzzles and games, there is a nice collection of those as well. For me and my fiance, the icing on the cake was most definitely the deck with absolutely amazing sunsets...even on the one day it rained. We took full advantage of every minute of daylight each evening....you wont be disappointed. All in all, a perfect location geographically, and a very nice and comfortable home.

Absolutely gorgeous!
I am beyond grateful I decided on booking this place! The pictures do not do it justice at all! I was hesitant to book because it states it’s in a subdivision. However, It’s not a subdivision scene at all. It’s very private and unique. The house provided everything you could need and/or want. The views from the balcony, can not be beat!! It was an amazing vacation for my family and I for sure!

Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chrissy's Xanadu. It was a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with a huge deck overlooking the lake. The home was very clean and comfortable for three couples (3 bedrooms and 3 baths) with enough privacy for all. It was one of the best equipped kitchens of any home I have seen and plenty of parking for three cars. Christine is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. The price is right too! We would be happy to stay there again.
