Aloha and welcome to Kahala at Poipu Kai located on the Southern shore of Kauai! Our nonsmoking, one bedroom/1 bathroom third floor condo is outfitted with you, our guest, in mind! Bright, cheerful tropical colors, high open beam ceilings with fans and newer furniture provide an ideal living space inside, while the private lanai offers a relaxing view of the garden below during your morning coffee or evening drink. The fully equipped, open kitchen offers the conveniences of home including newer appliances (electric stove, microwave, dishwasher), dinnerware, a variety of updated cookware and basic cooking condiments should you choose to cook and dine in. In the bedroom, air-conditioning is available for an additional daily fee. We also provide initial kitchen and bathroom paper products and basic cleaning detergents for your added convenience. In the garden below, a gas grill is also available for use. For your enjoyment flat screen TV’s and DVD players are located in the living area and bedroom. High-speed wireless Internet is complimentary. In the spacious bedroom, a king size bed awaits you after an amazing day on the island. Located in the bathroom, find a double sink vanity, a separate shower/tub and a washer/dryer (including detergent) for use as needed. A single, parking space (no charge) is available just outside the entryway.
We are centrally located within the beautiful and lush grounds of the Poipu Kai resort. After a brief walk through the greenbelt, your first destination is the world famous Brenneke beach located at the eastern end of Poipu Beach State Park. Continuing through the park is Poipu Beach, ranked among the best beaches in the world, and an ideal location for swimming, snorkeling, or laying back and relaxing with your favorite novel! Near the Grand Hyatt, Shipwreck beach awaits you for additional fun and relaxation. While staying with us, we provide our guests with a beach umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, portable cooler and other limited beach items for use.
The Poipu Shopping Village with a variety of restaurants and shops is located with a short walk or brief drive, while historic Old Koloa Townis a short drive offering additional dining (we highly recommend the Fish Market for lunch!), shops and grocery options. Nearby, the Grand Hyatt and Sheraton resorts also offer additional dining venues.

Cozy Condo for 2
We throughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. Since it is on the 3rd floor it has the open beam ceiling which is very nice and makes it feel more spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans etc that we needed and it was great to have plastic wrap, baggies, foil, spices, and some cooking oils provided for us. We also enjoyed having the use of the beach chairs, boogie boards, mats etc. that were stored in the entry. We have stayed in various units in the Poipu Kai Resort over the last 15 years. Some units were fully renovated and others had little done to them over the years. This unit has had updates done to the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops, and new flooring in the living room and dining area and has a very nice new washer

Great property to experience Kauai
This property at Poipu Kai was a wonderful place to call home during our visit to Kauai. It was clean and comfortable and was in a good location to access all of south Kauai. Driving to the north end of the island was easy as well. There are beaches in walkable distances. The area has nearby shopping and dining for all tastes. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in beautiful Kauai.
