Our tastefully furnished one-bedroom condo on the quiet side of the Grand Sierra Village (FYI:construction underway adjacent to building) features a fully equipped kitchen, with granite counter tops, microwave, full-size fridge, stove and dishwasher; a king-size bed in the bedroom; a queen-size sleeper-sofa in the living room; a nice balcony with a view; two TVs; a DVD player; Wi-Fi DSL high-speed internet; and a gas fireplace. For your convenience, a free ski locker is included (bring your own lock). The Grand Sierra Lodge is the newest and nicest lodge in the Village! There's free use of the under ground parking,fitness center, locker room and the best pool and spa/Jacuzzi in Mammoth.
A game room and washer/dryer facilities are located on premises. A beautiful fireplace and meeting area grace the magnificent lobby, and it's only steps away from restaurants, nightlife and shopping! All adjacent to the stop for the free trolley transportation to the Mountain or town.

Great location but condo had some issues
Getting into condo was easy. Nice to have underground parking. Cozy condo and great location. Can't beat being at the Village. Nice balcony. They are doing construction right across from the condo. It never really bothered us though. Well stocked with kitchen essentials. The pull out bed is broken and honestly should be replaced. The owners were very quick to respond and sent a maintenance person over to try and fix it. Not much he could do and so we had to make do for the week. Luckily, our kids are small and didn't complain. However, if I were the one to have to sleep on that bed for a week, I'd be super unhappy. You are probably better off bringing an air mattress if you need the extra bed. The bedroom was missing the smoke detector which seems to be a safety issue. Unfortunately, the one thing that caused us to rate this lower was the smell of the condo. We needed to open the balcony door for fresh air whenever we were in the condo. It was a really strong and unpleasant odor. Overall, it was a decent place but some of the items above, unless addressed, would prevent us from renting this one again.

The Perfect Mountain Getaway
The condo has a great mountain feel with rock fireplace, earthy painted walls and cabin decorations. The huge pine trees outside the window smell so great if you sit on the balcony. Yes, there is construction going on nextdoor but they stop early and do not work on the weekends. The king size bed is really comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a full gym and game room downstairs and the spa and swimming pool are at the perfect temperature. The location is also perfect. The Village restaurants, shops, shuttle bus, ski/snowboard rentals, lift tickets and gondola to Canyon are all within a short walk away.

Very nice. Great location.
I really enjoyed my stay. Only very minor inconveniences (light bulbs burned out, ceiling fan so off balance it can only run on low and batteries dying in smoke detector). Owner got in contact to see how visit wAs but did not respond to concerns quickly. I would definitely stay again even with very minor issues.

Very comfortable and great location
The condo had everything we needed. Lots of clean towels, comfy bedding and very clean. Location was great especially having a little one it was great to have the village amenities right there.

Great condo in the heart of the village!
What a great location! This condo is right in the middle of the village with easy access to the gondola and a great pool and hot tub for soaking after a long day of skiing. The condo is clean and has all of the amenities you would hope for. The owners are very nice and communicate well. There were a few hiccups with the hairdryer and the toilet but I passed them along to the owners who I am sure will address. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it will definitely not be the last!

Comfortable place. Well appointed.
The location is perfect with easy access to the Canyon Gondola. The place is well appointed. The price was right. It is relatively small - perfect for two people. There was a decent supply of spices for cooking and plenty of utensils. When we had a problem with our key card, the owners were very responsive and remedied the situation quickly. My only criticisms were (1) there was no dish soap, so we purchased some in town and (2) the toilet often doesn't flush properly.

Great place to stay for our Mammoth ski trip . Very convenient for shops and restaurants at the Village. Gondola ride to the ski slopes was nice. Marc and Lou gave great instructions for Check in and check out and responded quickly to questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and easy access
The condo is situated right in the Village which is a short walk to the gondola that drops you off at the Canyon Lodge. This was super convenient and nice with our 1.5 year old. The condo itself is comfortable and clean. As I have seen mentioned in other reviews there are small issues that if were addressed would make this an easy 5 star VRBO. There is no smoke detector in the main living area, some light bulbs are out, toilet is difficult to flush and most of all the unit had an initial unpleasant smell when we first entered. After opening windows for 30 min to hour the smell went away or we got used to it. First impressions are so important but I think this is a easy fix and would then qualify this as a 5 star VRBO. We thank you again for allowing us to stay. We will be back next year.
