Exceptional condo and excellent distance from the beach and Carlsbad Village.
I've stayed in quite a few homes, and this by far has been one of the best - especially for how well kept it is - but mostly for it's location off the main street and yet walking distance to the beach/boardwalk and Carlsbad Village where there are lots of great restaurants, shops, farmers market and the cool commuter train. The owners were very helpful and we no problems during our week stay. Even the twin beds were comfortable with nice bedding, including two nice bathrooms. Quite complex and neighborhood - no noise from downstairs or otherwise. Easy access to freeway or coastal route. Plus we had one nice evening out on the deck overlooking the ocean. Loved Carlsbad!

Amazing!
Our family of four had an amazing time at Rick and Kathy's! Apartment is literally a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. It's also well-kept and very clean with plenty of room! By the way, Rick and Kathy have thought of everything. Whatever you think you might need, it's already there. The area is quiet enough to hear the ocean as you fall alseep. We can't wait to stay here again!

It was way better than the pictures
It is beautiful. A block to the beach. 30.minutes to dana point to take the ferry to Catalina island which is paradise. The unit had 5 beach chairs and an umbrella.which was perfect and provided beach towels. We loooooved it

Awesome Carlsbad Condo
One of the best vrbo's we have ever stayed in. Location was perfect to the beach, shops and restaurants!! Never have to use a car!! This condo is so close to the beach, that the sound of the waves put me to sleep every night. Also had great views of the ocean from the living room and the balcony!! The owners, Kathy and Mike were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!!

Gorgeous home with stunning views - walk everywhere
So glad we found this beautiful home for our week-long stay in Carlsbad. Lovely and comfortable home-away-from-home with everything you need to enjoy the beach and village. Great location - quiet but within easy walking distance of beach and downtown. I spent most of my time on the balcony enjoying the view of the Pacific. We will definitely be back!

Very nice. Fantastic view with a lovely outside balcony. Well furnished. five Star location.
We had an excellent stay. The location was wonderful and the Village is a wonderful way to spend the day shopping, and eating. The restaurants are fantastic. We especially enjoyed the views. A few little things could use a little sprucing up. Mainly the towels and linens could use an update but nothing that would make me not want to go back. Over all we had an amazing time.

Great Place and Great Location
Condo was very clean and well stocked for cooking. The coffee was great. Bathroom showers... hard to turn on. That's all.

Very nice condo with great view
Nice place. Lovely view w/beautiful sunsets. Great location close to the beach. Unit could use some updates. Patio screen has some holes and doesn't slide properly. Shower faucets were difficult to operate. Area rugs on top of carpet should be removed. They are a tripping hazard. Unit is well equipped but there could be some instructions on how to operate appliances, TV and door locks. Beds are very high with huge, 24" mattresses.

Had a great stay over Christmas/New Year's. Condo was very clean and owners were very responsive when contacted. Close to Carlsbad Village and beach. Would stay again. Thank you, Kathy & Rick!
