Private deck overlooks beautiful landscaped rear yard. Complete privacy. Accommodates a couple very comfortably or up to four people using available futon mattress and large comfortable sofa.
Located on a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Five minutes from historic downtown Truckee, 15 minutes from Northstar and 20 minutes to beautiful Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley. Only a few hundred yards from the entrance to the Tahoe National Forests and its many miles of mountain biking and hiking trails.

Comfortable, clean and spacious
The owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us a tour of the guest house and pointers for making our stay comfortable and safe in the winter conditions as well as cautioning us about the potentially icy and slippery walk from the car to the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, though we were out most of the time and didn't need it; the unit very spacious, clean and comfortable. The space worked out very well for us and we'd stay again.

very private, quiet and comfortable
Guy is a great host. The bungalow is just as pictured in the listing and is well appointed. I have stayed here several times for skiing trips and enjoy the proximity to the slopes and to downtown Truckee's shops and restaurants. The bed is very comfortable especially after a day on the slopes. The location is in a quiet residential area away from major streets and highways but just a short drive to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped with most any appliance you may need to prepare meals. It is a nice, quiet location and perfect for a romantic getaway. If you're here in the winter, be careful walking from your vehicle to the door as it can be icy and slippery. Guy does a good job of keeping the pathway clear but overnight freezing temperatures can make the short walk a little challenging.
