As I was searching for a place to stay in Stratton, I was initially put off by the negative reviews for this property. My family was only staying for a few days to ski, so I imagined either sky-high prices or places far from the mountain. Sometimes it's tough to find a property on VRBO that rents for less than a full week. I emailed the property managers with my concerns and they assured me that all the issues from the negative reviews were addressed. I rolled the dice, rented it, and the property was great! The location is outstanding, we could walk to the lifts and restaurants. Parking was easy, indoors and out of the snow, so we parked our car and didn't have to use it again while we were visiting. Clean, convenient, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of room for the three of us, and there was even a big closet for our gear. I couldn't be happier! So I want to thank those who complained about this place. Here's the deal: Before you go up the hill to get to the mountain, before you pass the 7-11, stop by the real estate office. Put in the code and grab the card keys. That's it, issue solved. Last thing: It's high season with a lot of people around. The Entitled leave their precious children unsupervised, and they run up and down the halls. You hear people at night. There's a hot tub about 40 yards from the apartment and the darlings are in there and they're loud. When it snows, the property needs to clear the snow so you hear the equipment early in the morning. The indoor parking lot can be challenging because there's a lot of people coming. Is this the fault of the property owners? NO! But people complain and complain. To this I say, great. I have the opportunity to rent a great place like this one because the entitled didn't have their perfection.

Pretty much as expected.
Nice view, comfy Murphy bed good for 1 couple. Central on mountain location. All appliances worked. TV and DVD. NO cable. Plenty of hot water. Only 1 unassigned parking space vs the 4 advertised. Ok for summer, but in ski season with 2 cars not workable. There was one washer and dryer per floor (21 apts/floor). Unworkable in high season. We had to wait several hours to do our laundry and it wasn’t high season. Minor issues, the gas fireplace would work for 15 or so minutes then shut off, then maybe come back on. No spatula or wooden spoon. The fan in the bathroom was NOISY. REALLY LOUD. needs to be replaced. The pan storage under the oven was REALLY hard to pull out and push back.
