Description
If you are coming to Bend for a vacation, or business, why stay anywhere else! We will accommodate you even if its just you and a guest. This spectacular home is on the Deschutes River just North of downtown Bend on the mile long stretch of river just below Pioneer Park. This slow moving and breathtaking section of the Deschutes river is an Icon to those that live here and enjoyed by all that hike along her banks. The house has a private dock, kayaks and a canoe for your paddling enjoyment right off the back lawn.
The home has 6 bedrooms, 4 gas fireplaces, 5 full bathrooms, outdoor hot tub with river setting, indoor jetted tub with river view. There is also a steam shower in one of the upstairs baths. With 4 king sized beds, 2 double beds and 4 single beds, the home can sleep up to 14 comfortably. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with every utensil you could imagine, you wont have to look twice to find what you need.
Walk minutes to downtown Bend or get on your bike and head to your favorite pub or restaurant. If you are here on business, you will be excited to know that the convention center is just a short distance away on the other side of the river, within 5 minutes walking distance. The Rivers Edge Golf course is also directly across the river and within minutes from the home. Take a 2 or 4 mile run around the river trail which loops from the home, through Rivers Edge golf course, up the western bank of the river and the back along the eastern banks of the river. If you're a water enthusiast, get into one of the kayaks, or canoes and paddle up river to the first street rapids and back, you're sure to see otters, swans and many ducks along the way. After you're done exploring the outdoors, jump into the hot tub or just sit on the deck and look out at the spectacular view.
There are (7) TVs, two with surround sound, DVD, VCR and stereo with built in speakers throughout. The kitchen has a commercial range with 4 burners, 1 griddle, 1 grille and 2 ovens, two dishwashers, a refrigerator freezer, microwave and convection oven along with a wine fridge in the island. The rec. room has a pool table, large deluxe feather cushion sectional for watching your favorite movies and a wet bar with sink and refrigerator. There is also a large gas BBQ on the upper deck right off the kitchen and dining room.
Your stay also includes the use of the 40x30 garage space which you can get 4 autos into and many bikes on the wall hooks if needed. (we do supply several cruiser bikes for your use as well as three Scott mountain bikes, SM, MD, LG).

Truly a superb host!
I want to begin by saying that this is a spectacular home, with comfortable amenities and beautiful surroundings. I have now stayed at the Riverfront Lodge twice, and will definitely be booking this property on a future vacation. We encountered a water heater problem during our stay this time. Mechanical issues happen and they are never fun to deal with, but Doug was immediate in his attention and response to the issue. A++ on this home and host!

The Perfect Slice of Bend
We were in Bend for the Bend Marathon Race with a large group of ladies (11 in total) and this spot was just what we needed. More space than we knew we'd have, and multiple "hang out" zones in the house. The river is beautiful to watch from the deck and the dock. The kitchen was well-appointed and the house itself just lived well. We had one issue with the hot tub while we were there (likely our fault for filling it with too many women) and Doug the homeowner was quick to fix it, spending over an hour at the house making sure it was set for the rest of our trip. Would recommend 100 times over and we plan on keeping this in mind for future trips to bend. Also - this would be PERFECT for a large family gathering!

Heaven on the Deschutes
Doug’s place is spacious and comfortable. There were 9 women staying and we comfortably fit with room to spare. Although the weather was unseasonably cold during our visit there were so recreational toys provided you would want for nothing. The kitchen is well stocked with every gadget one might need. This place is a gem. There was even a resident swan that visited every morning while I was in the hot tub!

Best place in town!
Our group came to Bend for the weekend to celebrate a birthday and Doug's place had everything and more to offer that made it hard to want to leave the house. With a large group it is often hard to eat out, but the gourmet kitchen was all we needed to prepare meals for everyone right there. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone to feel like they have their own space. Would be great for families visiting or groups. Thank you Doug for letting us enjoy your awesome place, we will be back again!

Great place on the river
We were very impressed with this property. There is plenty of rooms and the living area is wide and open. The use of bikes and small boats is really nice. i would definitely recommend this property.
