Welcome to Wavecrest! Located on five beautiful waterfront acres with luxuriant tropical landscaping. This property is 13 miles from Molokai's largest town, Kaunakakai, on the island's lush East end. Wavecrest offers an oceanfront pool and attached cabana with gas BBQ's under a poolside covered deck. Two tennis courts are also part of Wavecrest Resort's amenities. The island of Maui, Kahoolawe and Lanai form the back drop of the views across the Pailolo and Kalohi channels. From December to April, Humpback whales are often sighted just beyond the fringing reef. Nearby Murphy's Beach is the favorite snorkeling and swimming spot on the island.
This two bedroom two bath condo is an oceanfront end unit which boasts two lanai's! Nothing but blue sky and ocean! Fabulous views of Maui and Lanai as well! The kitchen, floors and baths have all been nicely upgraded. The master bedroom has a spacious king bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. There is a pull out sofa bed in the living area and a futon on one lanai which can sleep two more! Lots of space for your family and friends!
The living area has ample seating, as well as cable TV, VCR player, and a stereo with CD player. Plenty of great movies and CD's to enjoy too! The upgraded kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. BBQ's are located at the pool-fantastic ocean views while you grill!
Relax by the ocean front pool! Play on beautifully maintained tennis courts! Sip a cocktail on the lanai and enjoy the beautiful views of the gardens, ocean and sunsets. Parking is close to the building, and stairs are located closeby.

Beautiful Location, Unit Needs Updates
Moloka’i is a gorgeous and overlooked destination in Hawaii and so worth a visit. The Wavecrest condo development is in a fabulous location and has lovely landscaping. The pool and barbecue areas are well maintained and a wonderful place to enjoy a day just relaxing. Ann, the owner was great to deal with and always responsive to questions. The unit was clean and the kitchen well supplied with anything needed to prepare a meal. There’s no air conditioning for the unit but we never missed it. The days were warm and the evenings delightfully cool for sleeping. Sleeping was an issue however, because the bedrooms face the parking lot and a neighboring house with barking dogs. We are used to the sounds of chickens in the islands but if you aren’t, know that you will hear them in any rural area in Hawaii and especially on Moloka’i and Kauai. The arrangement of the two bathrooms is exceptionally awkward with a shared shower between and only the shower curtains on both sides to separate the two rooms. The kitchen is updated. The rest of the unit needs significant updates. It would be useful for there to be fewer of the owners personal belongings. For example, it was difficult to use the master bedroom closet because it was stacked with storage containers and extra night stands. I recommend this unit with reservation because of the issues listed above.

Two weeks in paradise
We had a wonderful stay at Annie's place at Wave Crest. Everything was perfect - the view, the sound of the ocean and the birds, the comfortable beds and the kitchen with a great assortment of cooking tools. We will return!
