Condo is Cute & Cozy w/ a king bed, a set of bunk bed behind the dining area (not in the bedroom) and a sofa queen bed.
 
My Wonderful Wife & I are lucky enough to own 2 Mammoth condos. If owning 2 Mammoth condos does not show we are CRAZY about Mammoth - then nothing will!
 
The space
 
Thank you very much for considering our beautiful 'home away from home.' It is approx. 750 sq. ft. (good sized for a Mammoth 1+1).
 
NOTES: This is NOT a hotel room and most hotel rooms are close to perfect. This home is NOT perfect but it is clean, cute & cozy. There is NO smoking in the condo or on the balcony and this is not a PLACE to PARTY or make loud noise.

4) Condo is close to restaurants, bars & shopping.
5) Restaurant/bar right across the street - it's so close that you can hit it with a snowball. 
6) Mammoth has a Great Free Shuttle Bus System with a stop right across the street. I get some guests that stay in my condo WITHOUT a car - yes that is possible!
7) Mammoth has a lots of less expensive places to stay but if you want great value for your hard earned $$$ - then book this condo now - before someone else gets your dates.
8) The forest is right outside the complex.

Interaction with guests
 
- As little or as much as you want. I live in Los Angeles (almost 300 miles away) but I am only a text, email or phone call away.
- I will do everything in my power (I'm pretty resourceful) to ensure that you and your family or friends have a wonderful time.
- I will send you lists of things to see/do - in/around Mammoth. Mammoth truly has so much to offer - even in winter. I know Mammoth and the surrounding area EXTREMELY well & I love sharing this knowledge with others!
- This is NOT A PARTY CONDO. If you're interested in making lots of noise, having loud celebrations - please find another location.
 
Other things to note
 
**IMPORTANT NOTE - This is a Ski-In condo when Canyon Lodge is open (usually from mid-December to mid-April). When it is closed you can drive or take a FREE shuttle to slopes **
 
- I have great local ski & boarding instructor contacts. If the timing works, you or your friends can take private lessons from them at a GREAT RATE.
- Kids can start at age 3, my instructors are great with kids.
- The balcony is small & the view is just 'so-so' (see pics).
- The water heater is only 38 gallons. Multiple or long hot showers will not work - sorry.
- This is NOT A PARTY CONDO. If you're interested in making lots of noise, having loud celebrations - please find another location.
 
The Beautiful town of Mammoth Lakes has a Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) of 14%. I happily collect & remit this to Mammoth.

Great location

We were told in advance that the nearby chairlift was closed for spring ski season. We drove to the Main Lodge in 10 minutes and enjoyed great spring skiing each day. We can’t wait to try this unit again during winter season and walk to the nearby chairlift! Great location.

We had a great time staying at this condo

We had a great time staying at this condo. It’s very close to the resort, we went while Canyon Lodge was closed but it was very easy to get to the main loge from this location.

Awesome location

Awesome location! Great communication from host. Enjoyed spring skiing and exploring Mammoth!

The condo was great

The condo was great - well stocked and right next to the slopes. We were able to walk to and from the condo and hop right onto the lifts. It is also very close to the gondola/shuttle to go to the village in the evenings. The hot pool and sauna were awesome after skiing and are right next to the unit. John was very helpful and kind.

You can’t beat the location

You can’t beat the location!! So convenient to be walking distance from the lifts. Underground Parking is great and the condo was very comfortable. John is the most hospitable host! Thank you!!

Comfortable and clean place to stay

John’s condo is the ideal spot for a ski trip. As advertised, it is around the corner from canyon lodge, close to restaurants and mountain amenities, an easy gondola ride to the village, and a really comfortable and clean place to stay. John’s a great host, and will be super responsive and helpful without being pushy. Can’t recommend this spot highly enough. I’ll definitely be back.

Johns condo was very comfortable and the location was great

Johns condo was very comfortable and the location was great! Being able to walk to Canyon Lodge was such a plus. We didn’t have to worry about parking. And the underground parking meant we didn’t have to dig the car out after it snowed all night. We walked to the gondola to go to the Village for dinner. The bus or trolley stops close by so you don’t have to drive. The condo had everything we needed to cook and relax. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant right across the street. And John is super helpful and accommodating. He had lots of tips and suggestions for our stay and truly made us feel welcome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great place and location with VERY well-equipped kitchen for those who like to cook!

Place was awesome

place was awesome. Walk to the lifts, or gondola to the village. Never had to drive the whole time. Inside was immaculate, and cozy. John gave us great tips on food, coffee etc. we had an amazing time
