Excellent house for family get-together
We shared this house with other relatives attending our son's wedding in the Presidio. The location was great, and the house and furnishings were as good as any nice hotel.

Delightful family home near so much beauty. Beautiful private patio for morning coffee amidst blooming plants—we even had perfect sunshiny mornings. Comfortable beds for everyone. Complete privacy and easy check-in and checkout. Less than the cost of two downtown hotel rooms in June and SOOOOO much better! Also, a plug for the wonderful restaurant area—especially Roma Antica, less than two blocks away.

Very pleasant stay in comfortable surroundings.
George was very helpful upon our arrival. Our stay was very pleasant and the home very comfortable. We were there only five days so our experience was limited. The bed I used (large bedroom) was very comfortable. We have no negative comments and would not hesitate to return to this house or to recommend it to our friends. San Francisco is cold...but you can’t control the weather. Old condiments in the fridge and cupboard need throwing out, but I didn’t dare do this. We appreciated having salt and sugar on hand but old jam, mayo, stale crackers and such need tossing out.

The house is lovely and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay so much. We were a group of eight. There was plenty of sitting room for everyone. We parked on the street, used Uber to travel and walked to several good restaurants. It was a great three-day stay!

Perfect Location... Old house charm... Nice Host
Challenge: Parking a big vehicle....steep hill... limited spots. The lighting is low in the main rooms living and kitchen.... Gas stove controls didn't all work....no light in the stairwell area... Best shower is the one with the tub the other one hasn't got any water pressure. Great heater.... Charming old home with lots of room and seating...George our host was very welcoming and then left us alone the whole stay..... Lookin forward to our next stay there..... Thanks George for sharing your home with us.

A lovely home in an even lovelier neighborhood. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and luxurious linens. A very nice secluded backyard garden. A short walk to Union Street shops and restaurants. A short drive to most tourist spots, including Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39, Golden Gate Park, Nob Hill, Alcatraz landing, etc. Would love to return sometime.
