Near LAX and great beaches (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo). New kitchen, great location, and comfortable. Spacious unit tucked between two families on a beautifully landscaped property. Close to shopping, entertainment, and the airport.
A beautifully remodeled unit of a triplex (only three units on the property) in a nice, walk-able west Hawthorne neighborhood. Family friendly as well as nice for couples or business travel. Easily sleeps up to 3 adults (1 queen bed and 1 pull-out full sofa bed). The sofa bed can fit two children.

10 minutes to LAX
15 minutes to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach
30 minutes to Downtown LA
45-50 minutes to Disneyland

A parking spot for one vehicle at the left end of the driveway (should feel comfortable going in reverse to get out of the driveway). Any seating area in the driveway and in the backyard is free to relax.
The neighborhood is nice and you will see people walking their dogs and running for exercise. We are the last multi-family unit before a predominant single family home area.
Getting around
We are close to buses, the green line (train) is only 2 miles away. It is much easier to get around by car, but bikes are also an option. A taxi to/from the airport ranges from $10-20.
Other Things to Note
Overall it is a quiet place, but occasionally neighbors can make some noise coming and going (the bedroom window is near a driveway for a 4-plex).
For young children we do have a Graco (pack n play) crib and a high chair available.

-This is a NON-SMOKING property. If we detect smoke in the apartment after you depart, a $500 cleaning fee will be charged.
-Stays 31 nights or longer do not have tax, but $100 cleaning fee.

Absolutely Wonderfu
My sisters and I rented this beautiful home for the month of April. It could not have been more fabulous. Lucy R and her family (inluding Lucky!) are so sweet, generous, caring and friendly. And the rooms, furniture, towels and bedding, kitchen and bedroom were all perfect. I told Lucy I was ready to move in permanently. It was quiet when we wanted it to be quiet, friendly when we needed friends, excellent location, perfect weather with the ocean breeze coming in. The cutest little garden off to the side was also wonderful. Thank you, Lucy, and your perfect family and children - we had an amazing time that we will never forget. I rented this unit on a last-minute business trip to LA. It is quietly tucked in a neighborhood. The owners were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. The place is huge and clean. I would definitely rent the unit again!

Home away from home
I can't express enough how fortunate we were to rent Lucy's apartment. We had an amazing time in Cali and our rental was clean, fully equiped with everything we have in our own home. Lucy made us feel right at home, she's was the sweetest individual in the whole state of California. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I come to California.. Thank you Lucy for helping to see that our trip was amazing!!

Nice spot near LAX
Lucy's place was great. We wanted to stay near the airport and this spot did the trick. Lucy has things setup well - the accommodations were clean and welcoming. Having a parking spot for our rental was a definite plus.

Cozy place to stay near the airport and beaches
This 1 bedroom suite was home for 3 weeks when I move to Southern California. The owners were extremely friendly and greeted us right away and made us feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked for making meals. It has a full-size fridge and a/c unit in the bedroom. I would definately recommend this place for anyone looking for a place in the area, whether for a weekend or a longer stay.

Worked Great For Us
We stayed 4 nights... Me, wife and 2 grown children managed to be very comfortable. Might be a little better for three, though. Owner was very agreeable and helpful. Very clean. Photos accurately reflect the property! Off street parking a plus. We hope to stay there again!

The owner was very gracious and responded to my questions very quickly every time. She went above and beyond what I expected. The property is in a safe area and was very clean when we arrived. Centrally located around all the major beaches in the area and close to LAX.
