Aloha and welcome to the Happy Turtle! A little piece of paradise that we hope you love as much as we do. We are a newly renovated condominium located on a nine acre property in a quiet cul de sac situated on the top floor of a two storey complex. Happy Turtle is approximately a 15 minute car ride from Lahaina in Kahana on West Maui. Kahana is centrally located between the resorts of Ka'anapali and Kapalua.
Happy Turtle is nestled amongst some of the islands most beautiful flora where you can enjoy the diverse garden throughout the property. The feeling is peaceful, elegant and hawaiian comfort. The large lanai will invite you to enjoy your morning Kona coffee as you listen to the birds sing and enjoy the lush grounds. For those romantic nights, stroll to the ocean side of the Pohailani property. The seawall is about a one min walk from the Happy Turtle. Take a bottle of wine and watch the waves roll in with your sweetheart.
We just completed and extensive renovation on Happy Turtle which includes, but not limited to, new flooring, walls, Kitchen, bathroom and indoor/outdoor furnishings. Happy Turtle was designed and furnished with your vacation comfort in mind. Both bedrooms are equipped with luxurious linens and Smart TVs. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds that can transition to a king if needed. The living area has a Smart TV, modern furnishings and sound system. The kitchen has all new appliances, new cabinets with quartz counter top. The bathroom has a walk in shower that is tiled to remind you of Hawaiian lava. Shower towels, hand towels, wash cloths and beach towels are provided for all our guests. In addition, the Happy Turtle ensures your comfort with a ceiling fan in every room as well as AC in both bedrooms.
The property is tucked away in the heart of Kahana with a unique feel of privacy. There are three BBQs with gas grills (ocean front and poolside), tennis and basket ball courts, two pools and laundry facilities. Within a short walk of the complex is the well known Maui Brewing Co. in which you can enjoy some of the Islands best craft beer that is being recognized throughout North America. In addition, Happy Turtle is close to some of our favourite beaches within 5 min driving distance and walking distance to Secret Beach.
West Maui is a highly sought after area to enjoy your vacation. The trade winds keep our climate temperate all year round and we are blessed with beautiful beaches. Whether you swim, snorkel, hike, surf or golf, there is an adventure here while you stay at Happy Turtle.

Pretty, clean and comfy Lacked nothing
Great location, really great place to stay while in Maui! Excellent cookware, everything you might need! Only slight negative is carrying all you’re beach stuff luggage etc up the stairs.

Fantastic week
Maui is beautiful beyond belief and the Happy Turtle was the perfect spot to enjoy it from. Close to many of the sites but also less congested than the resorts. Condo is so nicely remodeled. We are so sad we had to leave. Would absolutely return and rent again.

Amazing
Loved our stay at the Happy Turtle. Our 3yo son loved the pool and the condo had plenty of room for all of us, including our 1.5yo. It was well equipped with everything we needed and clean. Location was great.
