This West Maui beach apartment is located on the ground floor of a 2 story building with only 12 units and is located on a quiet area in Honokowai.
At ground level a few yards from the sea shore with a wide ocean view presenting the islands of Lana'i and Molokai and spectacular sunsets.
The apartment has been totally renovated 4 years ago including a fully equipped kitchen. Outside you will find a shared propane barbecue for your convenience.
There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room and the apartment is very airy being next to the ocean and with all doors/windows with screens.
Good swimming, snorkeling and surf facilities a stone's throw from the lanai.
A Times Market 10 minutes walk from the condo, a farmer's market that passes through three times a week or 15 minutes drive to Lahaina, with all kinds of shopping facilities and restaurants, means you will not miss civilization.

Hawaiin holiday at the Pikake March 23-April 4, 2018
Our first trip to Hawaii was truly amazing. Our condo was perfect in a central location. We were right on the beach, could see the whales from our condo, also had turtles and a monk seal sleeping on the shore. The condo was fully equipped, needed nothing. Our hosts Scott and Janet and the two permanent residents were very friendly and helpful. We had fun blowing the conch shells every night. It was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Scott and Janet. Slice Of Heaven
This is the most ideal vacation spot that we know of... perfectly situated, very accommodating owners, and even a well-stocked pantry. It has become our annual hideaway from crazy world we all live in. So after more than a few years we summed it up this year with the following: A little slice of heaven is what we named it a few short years ago A home away from home, where love and friendships grow. We've traveled this world over, from sea to shining sea but when all is said and done, Pikake A2 is where we'd rather be. We've spent anniversaries (60th) , family time, and most often just a change of pace. But no matter what the reason, or the season, there's just no better place. When God created colors he was thinking of that vast & beautiful Maui sky, where He paints his majestic sunsets and hangs his rainbows out to dry. Yes, it's a little slice of heaven and no matter where we roam, Pikake A2 is our special place, it's our home away from home.....

Great spot
Best spot ever for two-island sunset views. Just a few feet away from the ocean and swimmable beach from this first floor unit. This small condo has everything needed for a stay of a few days or several weeks.

Beautiful and Private
We loved our stay at the Pikake- awesome location, right on the ocean, the size of the building is a huge benefit. Many of the other condo's and hotels are much larger with more people sharing the beach. The Pikake is a small complex and you feel like you have a private ocean area. The condo is well equipped, parking is right outside the unit, and the location is central to all activities, great local shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Communication with the owners was always quick and easy- highly recommend!

Island Paradise
Our trip to Maui was a dream come true. My wife and I have intended to visit for nearly 40 years and finally we came and it was perfect. Warm weather, ocean breezes and the ocean merely steps away. The condo was perfect, perfectly equipped to meet our needs. We barbequed, swam with the turtles, visited with our friendly neighbors and blew the conch each evening in celebration of life on the island. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful slice of paradise
My family of four stayed here over Christmas and had a lovely vacation. The condo was perfect and wow what a location! You can’t beat staying right on the beach. The condo was pristine and stacked with all amenities for cooking. It was incredible to wake up and fall asleep to sound of waves. The location was also incredibly convenient - short walk to little shops, organic store, and awesome coffee. Also for those with babies or toddlers- right next door was a cute beach park which had tide pools for the little ones to wade in. My kids loved it! Also super quick drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Friendly neighbor and the hosts were super fast and effective in their communication. Highly recommend this piece of paradise!!
Great location, nice condo, quaint, unique
Reminded me of Maui 30 years ago. Nice, well stocked and appointed condo. Owners and Site Manager very easy to work with. Private beach for swimming, but be careful of the rocks. I would rate if 5 stars, but we had noise issues with the people above us.

Heaven
A wonderful condo in a great little complex, right on the ocean. We like to walk and you can walk along a ocean walking path all the way to Ka’anapali. Lots of great beaches and snorkeling near by. We don’t want to stay anywhere else.

Slice of Paradise
Scott and Janet's property is a little slice of paradise. Couldn't have asked for a better first impression when travelling to Maui (and Hawaii) for the first time. Views during sunset are just spectacular. Spent our day's lounging on the condo's mostly private beach. All beaches in Maui are public but based on where this is located really only the buildings around it use the beach. Saw sea turtles lounging on the beach both days and the first morning woke up and enjoyed whale watching while eating breakfast outside. The full time residents at Pikake are wonderful. Location was excellent as you were walking distance to Maui Fish Market (great tacos) a nice little coffee shop and farmers market. Would highly recommend it and stay again.

Incredibly stay, enjoyed every moment.
We stayed at Scott & Janet’s condo for our honeymoon. The view of the ocean was spectacular and watching the sea turtles right on your own private beach was heavenly. The condo is equipped with everything you need to make meals & you are walking distance to several places when in need of something as well. We loved the fish market. Delicious fish tacos. We also really liked the market down the road as well. Boss Frogs is also walking distance if you wish to rent snorkel gear. The neighbors there next to Janet & Scott really so welcoming and kind. Upon arriving to Maui we had encountered some rude people and it was such a downer for us. But when robin came to greet us, it truly changed our entire evening and made us feel so welcomed and wanted there. She gave us lots of ideas and recommendations on things to do based on our interests. The sunsets were the most beautiful sunsets I had ever seen. The area was super quaint and close to everything- beaches, restaurants, hikes, etc. One of our favorite beaches we visited was Slaughterhouse Beach. About 12 minutes away. We would definitely come back and stay at this property. And we are excited to bring our son back with us next time! Thanks Scott & Janet for everything and sharing your space with us!
