This is the Vacationer's dream home, located right on Lake San Marcos, with its own private boat dock, in beautiful and serene setting of the Lake San Marcos development. Our Lakehouse comes fully equipped with almost every creature comfort you can imagine, not to mention the necessary staple utensils anyone would need to live day to day. Merely pack your toothbrush, golf clubs, and shorts to enjoy the surrounding wonderful restaurants and get ready to have the time of your life. Our Lakehouse is equipped with a luxurious private master suite and adding master bathroom, and the adjoining guest suite is equally as luxurious. Both Master Suites access the private outdoor patio which offers TV and music in complete privacy. There is also a third children's bedroom and/or office combination which is out fired with Blu ray player and flat screen Monitor . Our home is equipped with WiFi throughout the home, so you can surf the internet from the Lakeside Patio Room. Cable television,and music channels in surround sound in the Living Room, Lakeside Patio Room and Master Bedroom Suite is included, as is cable television in the adjoining master suite. This home has been professionally decorated for the discerning visitor, and/or gourmet cook (as many gourmet kitchen utensils are included) who enjoy luxury, creature comforts and privacy. Additionally, with our Lakehouse, we offer our guest (for an additional fee) the use of a safe and luxurious and easy to operate Electra-craft boat. This water vessel is a fully electric lake-boat (see the photographs). Imagine cruising beautiful and scenic Lake San Marcos from your own home on the lake at your leisure, exploring the organic wonders of the serenity of Lake San Marcos, and seeing first hand all its natural wildlife. Each voyage becomes an adventure in sightseeing, not to mention, the peaceful, romantic privacy of a morning or afternoon cocktail and hors d' oeuvres with your favorite person. Cruise to breakfast, lunch, or diner at the boat friendly Decoy Restaurant, and then untie, and enjoy a cocktail on the return voyage. This is your home to be enjoyed!
Additionally, think of what a sport you will be captaining your own boat, guest in tow to lakeside dining at many of the Lakes restaurants. The boat is complete with carpeted decking and teak tables, fiber optic navigational lighting, am-fm CD stereo, and more importantly seats 10 of your friends.
The Pro designed golf course available for your use. The golf course is a recreationally friendly short par 58, at 2,700 yards. For those of us that play regularly it is challenging yet also amateur accommodating. For both the Pro and the hacker it packs a lot of great golfing in a short amount of time. The course is open to the public from 7 am until sunset daily.
The interior is an elegant, professionally decorated home. Yet, it is extremely warm and very comfortable. Snowbirds, and Sunbirds come enjoy the enchanting, perfect climate of San Diego.

All That and More!
This property is beautifully decorated and includes all the amenities that one could want. The owners were not only very helpful, but also friendly and welcoming. The location is close to many restaurants and tourist attractions such as Wild Animal Park and Legoland. Our standard poodle and visiting grandchildren were as welcome as we were. We highly recommend this property as a wonderful vacation home for all ages when visiting San Diego!

GREAT HOUSE, BOAT, LOCATION, WEATHER--THIS PROPERTY HAS IT ALL111
This lovely lake house has been our "home away from home" for the past two summers. We especially enjoy breakfast in the California room watching the herons, egrets, and swans. The Electracraft is always a fun event when we have guests and take them for a leisurely cruise around the lake. The home is equipped with HD TVs in several rooms, nice linens, well equipped kitchen, lots of china and glassware. There is a spacious deck overlooking the lake for BBQing or just relaxing in the comfortable wicker chairs and lounges enjoying the lake and sunsets. Several nice restaurants are close by, and the beach is just a few miles away. The weather is fantastic. The owners are always available and promptly handle any problems or questions you might have about the house or area. We highly recommend this property.
So Quiet and Relaxing!
Our family stayed in this wonderful home for 10 weeks after we sold our house and waited for our son to graduate from high school. It has everything you can possibly want or image - it is truly all inclusive. The location is perfect - close to Restaurant Row where there must be 20 different restaurants and a large movie complex. The house is really beautically decorated. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and the linens wonderful. There is everything you could possibly want in the kitchen from dinners, pans, glassware and appliances. and We spent most of our time in the sun room. It is so peaceful and quiet - sipping a glass of wine and watching all the wild life right outside. The swans, the ducks, the birds - so relaxing. The TV's are all HD and there is a remote that makes working them a breeze! We enjoyed the pool table along with our kids and their friends. The Koi pond is really neat and we enjoyed watch the fish and feeding them. We had several friends stop by and evey one of them was envious and stated they wanted to move to Lake San Marcos! All the comforts of home. All you need is a toothbrush! You will really enjoy staying here and Noreen and Nuch were always available to answer any question.- they were great. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay!!!
This lake front home was beautiful from the moment we walked in. We loved the hydrobikes and the pool table. It was centrally located to grocery store, Del Mar racetrack, beach and grocery stores. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home for your next vacation in the San Diego area!
Best Birthday Gift in 88 years!
Dear Noreen and Carmen, If losing a re election means more time to live in your incomparable lakehouse, then you are the big winners. This, my dad's birthday month, we had a beautiful lakeside home to have my brother and his family from San Francisco and my cousin from Portland come and visit. Our month here has been almost transformative for my folks. My dad on his 88th birthday seemed 15 years younger in his demeanor and stamina. Visiting the lakehouse everyday (except MOndays...their casino day) energized both Mom and Dad. Dad fished from the comfort of a chair. And Mom enjoyed watching her sacred basketball finals on the TVs. I don't have a TV at my own house so just visiting me and watching TV was a big deal for the folks. I also don't have a grill or crushed ice and having access to those was such a treat for us! Thank you again for letting us rent your home...it was a month of memories for my whole family. Carol

WHERE TO GO TO RELAX! REALLY! CHILL OUT, WIND DOWN, THIS IS IT!
This was our 30 day dream vacation. We are in our 70's, so from the start we got into a daily routine. (that's what we do). First I would start early by brewing the coffee and then walk 15 feet to go fishing off our dock (and I caught some big fish), while my husband "caught up" on the stock market. (That was a pun..lolol) Next we would have a leisurely breakfast on the sunporch reading the San Diego paper while watching all the wildlife swim by. Then we would take the hydro-bikes out for our hour spin around the lake to see what was going on. New docks were being installed, the restaurant is being remodeled, all things that we both liked watching the progress of because my husband was a custom home builder for 50 years. After our return I would start thinking about packing our lunch, which always included one beer and one glass of wine, bad habit, but only on vacation. (: Then we would launch the boat and go to the middle of the lake, put the boat in neutral, drift and listen to the quiet, all while having a wonderful lunch and spotting bald eagles and other wildlife. Then we would take a lazy 90 minute cruise around the lake, taking turns driving, is that what you call it? Back to the house.... and I must say we became very proficient at docking that 16' boat. Then we would relax, take a nap, read or do some shopping. The home has everything you need to relax, cook, & entertain; with the pool table, pizza oven.. oh and did I mention the view? And if you're really lucky you will get to see the pelicans do their nightly victory dance right in front of the house. If you want to know what that is I guess you will have to just rent the house to find out. Don't hesitate to make this your next vacation destination.... you won't regret it.

Wonderful home
Best location in Lake San Marco's. The owners are very accommodating and very easy to work with and always readily available. They maintain the house in beautiful condition and it has everything you will need to be comfortable. The boats and the water bikes and the ping-pong table and pool table were added bonuses. My family had many enjoyable hours in this home. We rented two years in a row 3 months the first time in six months the second time. We liked it here so much that we ended up buying a home here at beautiful Lake San Marco's and selling our home in Arizona. We are avid golfers and the use of the golf cart to play St. Mark was an added bonus. The neighbors were terrific and this location was very very quiet.

A Real Treasure
We have had the pleasure to enjoy this beautiful Lake San Marcos property on 2 occasions, both for 2 consecutive months. The home is a gem, in a quiet, beautiful setting. Fine furnishings and decor. Lovely neighbours, too. Our delightful recreation on the HydroBikes was very unique, pedaling the lake viewing swans, pelicans, egrets, and other wildlife. On rare, rainy days we spent time at the pool table in the sunroom. We even became pizza chefs, learning to excel with the outdoor pizza oven. Just relaxing on the beautiful outdoor deck was a favourite way to spend a few hours. We most appreciated the friendly home owners, who responded quickly and favourably to any questions or concerns. Their wish to ensure we were happy with our stay was evident. Very comfortable beds and a generously supplied kitchen were most welcomed. The home is in close proximity to all San Diego has to offer ... Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and all its museums, the USS Midway, Point Loma, Coronado, and beautiful beaches. A drive north to San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, and Long Beach were highlights, too. We would not hesitate to consider another wonderful vacation here, and are grateful for this treasure! Everything we could have hoped for.
Looking to escape Seattle's long winter, we took a chance with Noreen and Carmen's home as we had no previous experience in the area generally, or Lake San Marcos specifically. Our stay exceeded our expectations! The location on the lake is perfect. The home is beautiful, and beautifully maintained. There is lots of golf around and we had access to a nice little gym just blocks away at the community center. Reading the newspaper with morning coffee in the sunroom while we checked Seattle's weather was a great way to start each day. At different times during the month we accommodated guests from home as well as our children and grandchildren. Everyone loved the place! Be sure to include the electric boat with your stay, as it was a favorite with everyone for daily excursions on the lake for exploring, birding and fishing, and evening wine cruises. There are hydro-bikes and a pedal-boat as well, which the kids loved. The home is equipped with everything you need. All the shopping necessary is in nearby San Marcos. Short drives to the beach, Legoland and the SD Wild Animal Park for the kids. Finally, Noreen and Nuch are most generous and responsive hosts. Hopefully this will become an annual trip.

Best Vacation Rental EVER!
WOW where do I start?? We live 5 minutes from this house and are under a remodel so we needed a place to stay with our 2 kids during this. Well, this house was everything and more! We fell in love with the house, the lake and the area! We are now thinking we should buy in that area! The house is set up perfectly! It is so clean with all the amenities you would need. On top of that we rented the boat. I highly recommend this! We used it every day to cruise and fish. Our kids loved it so much. It was a definite vacation living here. Even the restaurant Decoy and Dockside are just amazing! We highly recommend everything about the home and area. Also Noreen the owner always went out of her way to help us in any way we needed. We didn't want to leave!!!

Beautiful home! Responsive, delightful owners!
We literally just packed the clothes on our back and a few necessities and headed to this house. Everything you and will need is there. Beds are comfortable and house is wonderfully stocked with everything you need to have a great time. It was like a home away from home. Owners were always responsive, and are just delightful people. We feel honored to have been able to rent there!

Amazing Lake Property!
We spent the month of August at this beautiful home. The owners have put a lot of money into upgrading this property. The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. The kitchen is totally stocked! Plenty of glassware, silverware, dishes and much more. New appliances as well! The furnishings in this house are very very comfortable. My husband and I slept like babies in the comfortable master bedroom. We loved the patio off the room that had a water feature that runs all night. We loved that!! Our guests said the other beds were very comfortable as well! Everything about this home is so relaxing! The outdoor deck is lovely. We barbecued quite a bit and enjoyed sitting out there with evening cocktails! The boat was a lot of fun. We live in the desert so being on the water was a treat for us. Everyone that visited loved the boat rides!! Took a little practice for my husband to park it but he got the hang of it. Like I said this house has everything you could ask for.
