The Village Bungalow is a spacious second story one plus bedroom Flat with both ocean and village views. The home is open and bright with many large windows. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and a full sized bed. The full sized bed is in a nook off to the side of the master bedroom, with barn doors to close off the space. The third bed is a queen, it is in a nook off the living room it also has barn doors for privacy. The location is close to shops, grocery stores and restaurants. if you have forgotten anything the grocery store is a 2 minute walk away. The flat is above a hair solon and a copy shop. The space has just been remodeled with beautiful hard wood floors and a new rustic bathroom in the master bedroom.

We loved this little loft! The location is amazing and the owners are very gracious. It has been remodeled so it is nice and clean. The decor is modern rustic and is super cute! It has everything you need for a really nice stay in Mendocino.

Like having your own Mendo Penthouse
Great accomodations and location: would recommend, would rent again. As repeat Mendo visitors, this one of the best lodging options we've found. Smartly decorated and conveniently close to downtown Mendocino shops, especially Harvest Market (must have: Thanksgiving Coffee) and Patterson's Pub (try the chowder). Kitchen is well-furnished, and we even found binoculars to enhance the ocean view. There's no cable TV (which suited us just fine) but we did enjoy the availability of a Blu-Ray player with streaming capability. Note, larger parties will need to coordinate sharing of a single bathroom.

Village Bungalow is the picture of Mendocino Convenience
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay. Rain or shine this was the perfect place. Our 2 and 6 year olds never asked to bring their toys in from the car, and with this location you can enjoy your stay without even using the car. We’ve stayed at many places in the village, we’ll return to this spot for sure.

A very cozy, comfortable, clean and wonderful space. The kitchen is well stocked to cook anything. Love the ocean view. And has the best location to walk to anywhere in the “village”.

the house was was very nice and a great location for what we wanted to do while we were in mendocino. comfortable beds and living space for while we just stayed around. will definitely try to book it again the next time we go up, which we do at least three times a year

Perfect place to stay in Mendocino
Great spot in the heart of Mendocino conveniently located near groceries, ice cream and shops. Beautiful home with a view of the ocean from the balcony. Comfortable bedrooms and spacious living area. Easy communication with host and access to the house. We loved our stay!

This little flat is delightful and well set up! It was sparkling clean and so well located.
We loved our stay. Everything was easy and super clean. It was uncharacteristically hot so a fan might have helped a bit. We had a lot of mosquitos because there aren’t many window screens but the flat is absolutely lovely and very comfortable.

An absolute gem
The bungalow is a lovely, spacious flat above quiet retail spaces with a deck overlooking the rooftops of Mendocino village and a view of the ocean beyond. It's beautifully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen and a host of small, homey details -- like live orchids and house plants, a nice collection of teas, and scented candles -- that make you feel welcome the minute you walk in. The location is great, with a wonderful market just up the block and easy access to a number of delightful restaurants and shops, but the loft is so charming that it's tempting not to leave. The beds are super comfy, and the newly renovated "rustic" shower is fantastic. The owner is quick to communicate and easy to work with. We will definitely be returning to this little gem by the sea!

Amazing Location
We loved staying in the village of Mendocino. We had never been to this town before. Amazing weather. The property itself is phenomenal and has a great view. It easily fit our family or 5 and is literally 1 block from the grocery store, restaurants, and all shopping . Would absolutely stay here again.

Hidden Gem
The pictures don't do the property justice. We arrived the day before our wedding, we were overjoyed with the size of the property and the view was great. We had one issue with the door lock, called the owner who picked up right away and the issue was resolved. Looking forward to our next trip to Mendocino and hoping the property is available again.
