This home is located 'favored zone' due to the perfect elevation, climate and proximity to local parks, 1 hour to Volcano National Park, just 20 minutes to Kealakekua Bay, 10 min to Hookena Beach where the dolphins rest and where you can swim easily with the dolphins. Honounou National Historic Park is only 15 min. from this beautiful property. Hiking trails abound, horseback riding (20 minutes away). Hilo is two hours away--great location!
The home boasts an additional separate OHANA (family) quarters downstairs complete with full bathroom, kitchenette, queen sofabed and its own private lanai that has its own entertaining and meditation area. All ocean view. A queen sofa bed is also available downstairs in the ohana for additional guests.

You will love the space in the master bedroom which has a comfortable queen size bed with a walk in closet and full bathroom with walk in shower. Absolutely Awesome!!!
Everything about this home is perfect! It is very well appointed with anything you might need to make your stay comfortable. A previous guest mentioned that there were no beach towels....just not a true statement! There is a closet that has numerous beach towels in it. Also, downstairs you will find probably any other beach item you might need for a fun day. I’m not sure where the other guest looked, but there are numerous beach towels. This was our first extended stay on the island, as we always visit Maui. But, the last 8 days were so good, we will now visit the Big Island on our yearly visits. Make sure you stop at the Choicemart in Captain Cook for food essentials, as it is the closest market. I really can’t say enough good things about Michele, Ron and their beautiful home! I highly recommend this rental!!! Mahalo!
wonderful week in a wonderful house!
Everything was available in the house except for our dinner groceries! It was so nice to have snorkel gear, boogeyboards, everything we needed to cook with, and the view was fantastic!
Breathtaking view of Pebble Beach
This incredible home has everything! This was our 3rd time staying here. We absolutely love exploring the Big Island. We enjoyed hiking at Volcano National Park, seeing the Sea Turtles at Punaluu Beach, boogie boarding at Hapuna beach and hiking at Waipi o Valley. We went kayaking to Captain Cook monument and were lucky enough to see a pod of approximately 50 spinner dolphins. Mahalo to Michele and Ron for sharing their well stocked home. We loved coming “home” and grilling. We enjoyed the deck for coffee in the morning to having our dinner while watching a magnificent sunset. We hope to someday return and would certainly recommend to others.

Great home, great place - away from hectic resorts, but great location to see many sites.
We loved the home, and were appreciative of the attention of the owners. There was a misunderstanding with their cleaning service (no fault of the owners), so the house was not ready for us at the normal arrival time. They were working on the situation before we arrived, and followed up several times during our stay to make sure we were happy.

Excellent place to stay to enjoy the paradise of Hawaii
Very comfortable, clean and well decorated home. Beautiful views of the ocean. Made our stay so much better having a place to come back and relax. Some of the best snorkeling is within 15-20 minutes.

View, view and view!
It was like living in the middle of a flowering jungle with an incredible ocean view. Very large deck equipped with geckos. House had everything we needed and more. Pebble Beach (down the street) was beautiful. Can be rough on days but also had calmer days which allowed for snorkeling. A 40 minute drive south of Kona but had relaxing, quiet, star-filled nights. No fear of crime. Could sit on that deck watching ocean forever. Saw whales! We loved it. Would stay again. Thanks Michelle and Ron!

Morning coffee and breakfast on the veranda everyday????...Spectacular 180 degree view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets...Outdoor shower with nature, natural light and sounds of birds if you so choose...we all partook and loved it! Beautiful plants adorn the yard and geckos ????abound, so many pictures of those lovely amphibians. We absolutely loved the owner’s artwork throughout the house and the comfortable furnishings. Perfect Slice of Paradise
This was a perfect vacation rental for our family. My husband and I stayed with my parents at this beautiful home for 2 weeks over Easter 2017. We have stayed in the subdivision of Kona Paradise before and preferred this home because of its location near the top of the hill; it has breathtaking views coupled with cool breezes. We were a little hesitant at first to book this property as there is no air conditioning (my father has multiple sclerosis and does not fair well in the heat). However, this was not an issue whatsoever. There are many windows allowing the breeze to pass through the house and the owners have placed fans throughout the house if you need them. The booking process, check in and check out was seamless. Michele and Ron have the process down to a science. They are very friendly and helpful if you need anything. You can tell there is a great deal of pride and love in their home. It is decorated and tended to beautifully. I think the secret of this place may be out however. We are so keen to stay here again that I checked out the booking calendar....no openings for the near future. This is obviously a function of how amazing this vacation property is. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to stay here again. Thank you to Michele and Ron for helping us make a memorable trip with our family.

Our stay here was incredible! 3 teenagers and two adults, so the spaces were perfect for everyone to have their own place! The views from the house are incredible, and the covered balcony and eating area outside were favorites. Well appointed, well stocked and very clean. The entire process from start to finish, and even during, was seamless. The Croci’s checked in with us to make sure everything was going well, which was very appreciated. We Wish we could have stayed longer. It is definitely out of the way, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. Also, be prepared for the steep hill going down to the beach! We couldn’t believe the grade! What a wonderful stay - if we ever come back to the big island this will be our choice!
