Nestled in the Prestigious Country Club Area of San Rafael, this Gated Estate is perfect for Retreats or Family Gatherings.
It is a Shangri-La; peaceful, private and secluded, surrounded by over an acre of flowering gardens and a swimming pool. It's gates open to a long driveway.
(parking for maximum 8 cars allowed).
PLEASE NOTE:
The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with beautiful hardwood floors throughout the 5500 square foot home.
The cost for the main house is $950/night...(1,250/night for Nov. 26-Dec.2)... and can accommodate up to 10 guests overnight.
There is a downstairs apartment, with a mini kitchen and bathroom area, that can accommodate 4 extra overnight guests for an additional $300.00/night. (Total guests would be 14.)
If you should want to include 2 more guests for a total of 16 overnight guests, it would be $50.00 for each additional guest.
Entertain on the Baby Grand Piano in the Formal Living Room... or Dine in either the Dining Room or Family Room, (each have seating for 8 for sit down dinners or game board play.) Back patio can also be set up for sit down dining.
Access from Living Room, Dining Room and Family Room through French doors that open out onto cobblestone patio with custom built circular gas pit. Stone steps guide you through the garden to the lower pool and wheelchair access, as well, down brick walk way. Includes wood burning fireplace, recessed lighting and vaulted ceilings.

Extra fee for early check in and late check out....Early check in at 12 noon is $200.00...at 2pm is $100.00.

Extra apartment is an additional $300.00/night and can accommodate 4 more persons.
The Master Bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the gardens with a spacious and luxurious bathroom, as well as, a sitting area. It has an updated Kitchen with Wolfrange, Subzero Refrigerator and Freezer, and gorgeous granite countertops.
Laundry room with washing machine, dryer and sink.
In Addition: If you only want to use the estate for DAY use, the fee is negotiable depending on hours and number of guests.
For instance....($400.00/day use during weekdays from 11:30 until 7pm. with 20 person maximum.)

San Rafael estate
We stayed at this beautiful estate over a weekend. This place is incredible. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood, with large yard and large trees that surrounded the entire property to give it a super private setting. The house itself is a grand estate with large kitchen, living room and family rooms, large back yard and a heated swimming pool. We had a small family gathering, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the place. We will definitely rent this place again. Cecilia is super responsive with email so there is no issue there. Thanks again.

Great stay for family vacations
My family stayed here since we were attending my wedding in Mill Valley. It was a great house to stay in and have everyone in the family together. We enjoyed the spaciousness, pool, bonfire pit, and the amenities. The host was also very hospitable.
