Description
Welcome to Dragons Lair. We have fantastic views from our deck while you relax on our comfortable outdoor furniture. The Black Hills offers something for everyone. Trout fishing (1/4 mile) on creek in our development, ATV trails, Hiking and Biking (road and mountain), Hunting, Horseback riding and local attractions including Mt. Rushmore. Skiing minutes away with a woodstove to warm you afterwards. Located close to historic Deadwood and Sturgis in the northern hills.
This is our personal A-Frame vacation home located in a new private development. We border National Forest, 20 yards from the house. Elk, deer, turkeys, and many other species of wildlife just outside your door. Watch sunrise and sunset from our wraparound deck with panoramic view of Custer Peak.

Amazing location Quiet and lets the fur babies stay!
What a beautiful spot! one queen bed one king bed one loft which the 11 yr old LOVED!! 16 steps from the entry to the living room so if you cannot do steps, this is not your cabin. The deck is amazing!! Deer were close by, tons of little chipmunk/ground squirrels and pine trees everywhere. Last house on the road so it was super quiet and you didn't hear neighbors. STEEP driveway but totally doable The kitchen is well stocked with good pots and pans and dishes, large fridge washer and dryer, and huge closets! The price was reasonable for the size and location and we will keep this on the list for the next time we come back to the area!

Great cabin & location
Wonderful quiet, beautiful views. An observation, but not complaint, grill gas can was empty evidently valve was left on. No problem used charcoal great flavor! Wap around porch with tables and chairs was great. Meals, games, and cards while listening and seeing wild life. Impressive driveway, especially on first decent! Thanks Carl & Madison

Dragon's Lair is isolated high atop a Black Hill, far from the madding crowd. We spent our mornings exploring the region and our afternoons and evenings on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet. It was just my wife, me and our two dogs, but there's space enough for a bigger family. We have every intention to return.

Serenity in the Woods with A View
My husband and I have stayed at multiple rental homes in the past few years. This was one of the nicer ones. It offered solitude and nice views into the Black Hills Forest and distant mountains. The owner allowed us to bring our small dog, which is one of the criteria we use to choose vacation homes since she's part of the family. The surrounding area has plenty of recreational/tourist activities. We rode our mountain bikes, went to Mount Rushmore, and the Crazy Horse Monument. We saw white-tailed deer on a few morning walks and loved relaxing back at the house after exploring some of the area's small towns. I like to go in cute little shops to browse.

Beautiful location, all the comforts of home.
Gorgeous house, terrific views and very peaceful. Located between Deadwood and Hill City, this is a fantastic place to set up base camp, and let the exploring begin. WiFi and the full size washer/dryer were extra perks that made our time there delightful! Hiking the forest behind the house was wonderful. The cabin is well kept and has every amenity I could want. Thanks for sharing your vacation home!

A Great Getaway
Beautiful location and nice & quiet - even during the Sturgis Bike Rally! Was nice to spend the day riding the motorcycle and UTV and then come back to the cabin in the evening for peace & quiet. Highly recommend.

We loved the Dragons Lair. It was a great location and up a hill providing beautiful sunsets. Our dogs loved to hang out on the enclosed deck while we BBQ. Highly recommend
