To make the guest experience even better we have refurbished the property in 2018 into the stunning 1 bed with en-suite, living room and kitchen with outside deck you see now.
All with free wi-fi, & guests met on arrival and tour where requested.
A fantastic location in the quiet beating heart of the South Bank yet is only a short stroll from the excitement of Covent Garden, the West End & the Olympic sites. South Bank attractions include the beautifully remodelled Royal Festival Hall, The National Theatre & the iconic Oxo Tower (all moments away). The penthouse restaurant at the Oxo Tower offers one of the best views of London.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre (to see or not to see it, that is the question!), the Tate Gallery of Modern Art (Miro a must!) and the staggering London Eye (dwarfing Big Ben!) are all less than a 10 minute walk from the property.
These world class attractions are knitted together by the inspiring river walkway (pedestrianized) which threads the length of the South Bank to London Bridge, the Tower of London & beyond.
All the major tourist attractions are a mere caber toss (a Scottish pastime!) from the apartment, which means that you can save on expensive travel cards during your stay.
Whilst you can genuinely walk to all the major sites on foot, public transport is right outside. A red bus picks up right outside the apartment stopping at attractions between Covent Garden & London Bridge, as do passing black taxis.
Waterloo station (main Train line & Tube line) is only 5 minutes walk away.
Paris is possible as an exciting daytrip on Eurostar in 2 hrs from Kings Cross!
The property has undergone an amazing upgrade (completed Jan 2018) and limited to 2 persons to maximize enjoyment of the unit. Broadwall is arranged on one level. It comprises of 1 large bedroom (with new memory foam mattress to bed Nov 2018) and 1 bathroom, ( en suite) with shower and bath. Bathroom and shower room furniture is complimented with chrome taps and shower fittings, towel rail, wall-to-wall mirrors and siena tiled floors.
Hallways and living/dining & bedrooms feature beautiful cherry wood flooring with sensor lighting as a feature. A new reclining sofa was added in Jan 2018. There is also a fold down bed for 1 should 1 of the 2 snore!
The newly installed kitchen ( Jan 2018) has quality designer units featuring curved breakfast bar. Integrated top quality bosch appliances include washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, integrated microwave and oven & ... a wine fridge!
One of the great benefits of this property is that despite its fabulous central location it enjoys a marvellous secure & peaceful outside deck, leading onto a fantastic urban garden.
THIS MAKES THE PROPERTY ALMOST UNIQUE!
A timber decked roof garden with plants, seating and lighting proves very popular & a huge luxury in such a central location.
There is a private storage unit on the private deck .
Security video entry phone has been fitted to the apartment. Remote controlled access to car park.
The apartment has allocated covered parking space within the ground floor car park which may be available at a cost upon request.

Excellent South Bank stay
We (2 adults and 1 baby) had an excellent 5 night stay at this cosy South Bank apartment. Barry was very accommodating at the check-in, including guessing that we'd need a cot! He also gave us a short tour of the local area, which was very helpful indeed. The apartment is excellently located by the South Bank, and easily accessible from Waterloo, Southwark and Blackfriars stations. This made the apartment a convenient place for ou friends located elsewhere in London to visit us. Also, as the apartment has a lovely communal seating area on the back yard decking, it was an excellent base to catch up with friends. All in all, a brilliant experience and a lovely stay.

Amazingly well-appointed flat
The flat contained almost anything one could imaging needing (including FIVE umbrellas, which we did NOT have to use since it only drizzled once.) A veritable library of tour-books, as well as books on many other topics. Mr. Bowen gave a most useful tour of the immediate locality and a visual overview of much of London from the nearby riverside park . He was very accommodating of our specific needs, even sending someone to purchase for us a circulating fan for two unusually hot days. Excellent wi-fi. Flat gives great access to the South Bank, including Tate Modern; Shakespeare's (new) Globe (and St. Paul's just across the river from that); Southwark Cathedral; and the marvelous Borough Market. Bus line 381(?) a half block away. Southwark tube station 0.4 mi away. For older feet, black taxis (very professional and knowledgeable) easily available on the streets nearby.
