Experience Puerto Vallarta through our breathtaking 2,300 square foot ocean view condo that is just footsteps away from the beach! Punta Esmeralda is a new, beautifully landscaped, gated resort located just outside the fun, authentic Mexican town of Bucerias, 25 minutes from vibrant downtown Puerto Vallarta and only 15 minutes the other direction to the great beach and surfing towns of Sayulita and Punta Mita. Our condo is tucked away in its own private paradise!
Enjoy all the surrounding areas have to offer or simply stay at this relaxing, beautiful beachfront resort and enjoy all the amenities including 8 different pools, its own private beach, beach & pool front Palapa Bar & Restaurant, tennis courts, gym, and relaxing spa services with massage therapist on-site. The resort also provides 24 hour front gate security and free WiFi internet access in our condo, at the Palapa Bar/Pool next to the beach, and at the outdoor ocean view library.
Our condo offers a very stylish and brand new décor with a great terrace all providing amazing, ENDLESS views of Banderas Bay, and beautiful views of the Sierra Madre mountains.

Beautiful place
Ken's spot is great! His condo is beautiful and well equipped with towels, DVDs, board games, and kitchen amenities. It is on the 3rd floor, so your view of the sunrise is amazing from all but 2 of the bedrooms. The main balcony is the best view! There are tons of pools to choose from, and the Palapas bar/restaurant next to the pool on the beach was delicious. We went to their Valentines Day dinner, which had a preset dinner menu and band- just remember to bring cash as it is cash only. You can walk into Bucerias in about 30-50 minutes depending on your speed. You can also easily take the bus for about 10 pesos or grab a quick cab for 100-200 pesos (depending on how many people you have in your group....we had 6). We also went into Punta De Mita for a day and took a snorkeling lesson just before Punta De Mita from WildMex. That was a ton of fun. Half of our group took a bus and half caught a ride from a friend already down there with a rental car. We also explored San Pancho and a couple other neat beaches up along the way. Additionally, the location is close to La Cruz which has an amazing Sunday market, a quick bus or taxi ride away! If you just want to relax and stay near Bucerias, you don't need a car. However, if you want to head North to the other small beach/surf towns or head into PV a lot, I would recommend renting a car. As I mentioned, our group did not, but had a friend down there with one which made it really easy. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful place, Ken!

Wonderful location
We loved our stay. Wonderful location removed from the overly crowded parts of the beach so you can truly enjoy the beauty of the sand and the ocean! Pleasant 40 minute walk along the beautiful beach from amazing restaurants in Bucerias and very accomodating host. Its also easy to get taxis when needed. Highly recommended!

We love the place, everyone in my family was super comfortable and we enjoy the multiple pools. Easy to get to transportation and head to town. Would gladly stay again.

The locations is wonderful
The locations is wonderful! The condo looks out onto the bay which is where we spent some our time enjoying. From the condo you need to take a taxi to get to PV, and shopping for food which isn't a big deal. You can get a taxi right at the gate. The spa was lovely! The restaurant is a great to have when you don't want to cook. You have everything you need. It lacks some homely touches but that's me. If you want peace and quite to relax this is the place! Enjoy!
A lovely property
A lovely property. Very quiet with only a bit of road noise from the back master suite. The restaurant was great! We did not have a bad meal there and it is so convenient. We enjoyed taking the funiculars- incline cable cars- down to the restaurant and to the beach. Ken was a great host and his on site man was so very helpful! We would stay there again!

The place is just amazing. We love it in there. We usually stay in hotels because we are a party of 10 but we decided to go with this apartment this time. It was so much fun. The place was perfect for us. All the amenities are perfect. You have all kinds of pools. The restaurant beside the beach is just great. Chema was my favorite. Ask him for anything you may need. He is the best! The location is perfect. A bit away from everything but so close to la Cruz, Sayulita y close by the main area of Bucerías. I really really recommend it. And we are looking forward to go back maybe by the end of the year.

Awesome place
Awesome place. Wonderful communication. The facilities are so beautiful and relaxing, and the apartment is top notch. Wonderful communication and response time from beginning to end. Having a manager in the building was helpful as well although we didn’t need her it was nice to have someone close available. Restaurant is closed Tuesdays. We finally made it there before leaving and we’re bummed we didn’t get to go more. It was delicious and service was awesome. Keep in mind theres a commute if you’re planning to go into PV (about 30-40 mins)or to get food outside of the on site restaurant(5-15 mins). Otherwise rent a car, or if cooking in or eating at the restaurant you can stay in all day and it’s amazing. Super amazing trip and rental! Thank you so much Ken! You were right, it exceeded our expectations! If this area fits your needs, don’t think twice this place is awesome for sure.

Absolutely amazing property
Absolutely amazing property - free from tourists. The food at the on-site restaurant was great and the recommendations of local places were great - be sure to visit Si' Senor. Condo was very spacious and comfortable - incredible view. Looking forward to returning soon!
