The perfect get-a-way!
We loved our stay. Le Petite Papillon was the perfect place for our weekend in Carmel. It was charming, quiet and close to town. The room is perfect and has everything we needed, with so many little touches that made us feel right at home. Brenda and David have literally thought of everything to ensure we had an amazing stay. They had coffee, surprised us with a bottle of wine and even balloons for my birthday. The room is spotless, bed is comfy/cozy and so so so quiet! When we came home after dinner and they had lit candles in the courtyard it was so beautiful and romantic. We loved it so much! Seriously we didn’t want to leave.

Lovely private studio with patio & magical garden
This lovely private studio apt. was filled with personal French touches. Patio looked onto magical garden landscaped by the owner. Bedding was luxurious and Terry robes and slippers were provided which added to luxury feel. Kitchenette was well stocked with water and beverages to begin our beautiful journey in Carmel and a bottle of wine and glasses greeted us upon arrival. Chocolates on our pillows the first night as well. We felt welcomed by the friendly owners who provided advice on local sites and activities. This was a fabulous base for our California vacation!

Charming cottage
What a truly charming place in a great location. It was quiet, but close to town. You had everything you needed and more. They left us a bottle of wine and coffee. They also had an umbrella and flashlights which we were thankful for. The owners could not have been better communicators and provided everything to make our visit enjoyable, including suggestions for places to eat and visit.

This little gem is cute, quirky & stylish. Brenda & Dave have gone the extra mile to make our stay amazing with welcome treats & the whole place has attention to detail, I would like to tell all But it would ruin the nice surprise for future guests!

Brenda and David captured Carmel in this space; Europe and the coast were represented in the tasteful and thoughtful decor. Everything was lovely. Our stay was part of wedding weekend filled with friends, food and fun. Wish we could make it here more often... would definitely return.
The perfect stay in Carmel!
We absolutely loved our stay in Carmel! Brenda was such a gracious host and the attention to detail and our stay made for such a memorable time. The space is perfect for a couple getaway, beautiful, clean and smells of fresh lavender. We spent a lot of time in the morning and evening on the patio and took walks in the sweet, quaint neighborhood. We cannot day enough wonderful things about this home! Counting down the days to return! Thank you David and Brenda for being such wonderful hosts! ??

Great little cottage with everything you could possibly need!
Very well appointed with great attention to detail. Extremely clean, spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Lots of recommendations for food and entertainment provided. Would definitely come back.
