OUR LITTLE SLICE OF PARADICE
We are located on the 4th floor of the Amara overlooking the palm trees to the beautiful sea.
Beautiful sunsets every evening.
We are in the heart of Ixtapa Beach just walking distance to great restaurants, luxury shopping and groceries.
Each room is individually temperature controlled for your comfort.
A personal cook is available upon your request.
2 master suites on the seaside: one king bed, one queen bed.
2 bedrooms facing the beautiful mountains and golf course: both queen beds.
All bedrooms have their own bathrooms. (total of 5)
We have 2 wide screen TV’s, 1 in the living area, 1 in the master suite with cable service.
Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer.
24 hour security.
Private gate to the beach from the pool area.

We have three swimming pools: large infinity pool for everyone, children’s wading pool and an adult’s only pool. There is a poolside bar that serves pretty much anything you can think of to drink! And our bartenders are great.
On the beach, we have private palapas with lounge chairs.
We have 2 paddle tennis courts on site for guests.
There is parking inside the gated property.

Family / Cousins Reunion
We stayed in Sandi's condo for 10 days and found the Amara to be everything as described. The view is unobstructed and amazing! The condo itself is well outfitted with amenities and the kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are a tad firm for my liking but that seems to be a Mexico thing. Everything was clean! We were even provided one unexpected complimentary housekeeping service halfway through our stay! The grounds and pool are well cared for and clean as well. Right out front of the condo you can jump onto Ixtapa's cycling and trail system that runs 10 K north of there! For runners, walkers, cycling enthusiasts this is an awesome location!! Restaurants and shops in abundance right across the street, too. We hope to be back! Thank you Sandi for a GREAT stay!

Spacious with beautiful view
Two families of 4 shared this spacious unit at the Amara. There was plenty of room and having 5 bathrooms was much appreciated! The unit is nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. Wide views of the beach and sunsets in the evening made it the perfect beach retreat. The service from the staff was great whether ordering drinks from the pool bar, arranging taxis or just asking for recommendations on local things to do. The beach is approximately 3kms/2miles long and is perfect for morning walks and afternoon plunges into the surf - there can be a fairly strong under tow so be careful with small kids or weak swimmers. We have no problem recommending this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

GREAT ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
This is our second year renting this condo at the Amara. Once again, it lives up to it's title: "Our Little Slice of Paradise". We love the location, the beach, the private pool areas, the quietness, the amenities in the condo and the people. The condo manager, Claudia, is available all the time for questions, and has the answer to everything!! One night we had a fabulous cook, Lilianna, do an amazing Mexican dinner for us. The restaurants are located across the street and there are plenty!!! Right out the front door is an amazing walking/biking path that goes from Ixtapa to Playa Linda, through a National park. We rented bikes and had a great few hours of biking. I would highly recommend this condo!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
This is our second year at this condo in the Amara. Once again, it is such a beautiful place to be. Not only is this condo wonderfully kept and spacious, the people that work at the Amara are wonderful. This is located on the 4th floor so has a wonderful view of the beach area and the never-ending gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself, is well equipped with anything that you need on a vacation and is located close to wonderful restaurants and grocery stores. Hope to return again.

Our winter escape in paradise
This was our first time renting at Amara, but won’t be our last! We have been coming to Ixtapa for more than 10 years and found Sandi&Mike’s condo the best of the best! Unbelievable view and beautifully furnished. Thank you Sandi&Mike for letting us share your “little slice of paradise”

Everything you need in a vacation rental - near perfection
We rented this space from Mike and Sandi and it was everything they advertised and more. The view was even better than the pictures. There are 4 large sliding glass doors that open up to the large balcony and make it one large space - all the chairs, lounges, couches were comfortable. We had 3 other couples with us and it was never crowded, except for the kitchen at times, but we managed with it. Each room comes with its own a/c unit, but with the nice breezes, we rarely needed to use them. The unit had every amenity that you could image - it's rare to find that in a rental. All the couples loved their room. The beds were comfortable, private bathroom, ceiling fans, plenty on space to put away your gear, and lots of hangars! The administration office was always available for any questions or issues we had. They supplied a bottle (7 gallon) of water for the water tank any time it needed replacing. The fridge has an icemaker (with a filter) that is safe for your drinks. We also took advantage of hiring a chef for an evening to cook us an authentic Mexican meal. She bought all the food, prepared it, served it, and cleaned up - truly fantastic and recommended. The entire complex is also very secure and safe. The pools were also very comfortable - plenty of chairs and if you wanted shade, no problem finding it. There was a pool bar that also cooked some light food - burgers, etc. The unit has over a dozen beach towels and plenty of bath towels. This is our second time in Ixtapa, and we plan to rent this space again, if Mike and Sandi will have us!!

Great Place for a Winter Break
Our family of 3 couples have found a great place. Very comfortable condo where the living and dining areas open up to the sounds of the waves. 3 bedrooms with their own en-suite bathroom Claudia arranged for a cook to prepare the best meal of the trip. Kids pool, family pool and adult pool cover everything. All of us went for a walk on the beach each morning. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants across the street. Will definitely back for another holiday Thanks Sandi.

This place is amazing. We have been to Ixtapa 18+ Times, and always stayed in the resorts, the Amara was by far our best stay. The owners communicated well before our stay and Claudia was waiting our arrival to show us around ( She is great ) The Condo has everything you need along with amazing views.

Slice of Paradise INDEED!
We absolutely loved every moment in IXTAPA! Sandi and Mikes condo was beautifully colorful, cozy and spacious. We've stayed at Amara once before and love the relaxing non-crowded environment, perfect location and wonderful staff! Prior to booking the place Sandi was very helpful and responsive answering all the questions I had. Our family had a wonderful stay at the Property and look forward to visiting again next year! Thank you Sandi, Mike and all the staff that made our stay a great one!!
