Come visit this beautiful property overlooking Lake Arrowhead with breathtaking s
cenic views. The house is located on a quiet, no wake cove with plenty of room for adventures including small craft, swimming, paddle boarding, water biking and fishing and much, much more.
There are three spacious floors with 7 bedrooms and 5 & 1/2 bathrooms, 2 separate, lake front patio areas and a huge dock. You can bring several couples or even have a small family reunion.
The main level includes a modern, well stocked kitchen overlooking the water, totally open so you won't miss a thing. The gourmet stove is a cook's dream. There is a large pantry complete with a few things to get your vacation started. Right next to the kitchen you will find a large lakefront keeping room with a fireplace and a 60 inch high definition television, The keeping room is comfortable and completely open to the kitchen so you can chat with the cook. The large dining room has a beautiful, handmade farm table. You can easily seat 8 but we also include a folding table with chairs for extra guests. The living room is spacious with a fireplace, gas logs and a piano. French doors open to the beautiful patio with plenty of seating. On the deck you have a gas grill and a table with chairs. The wide open porch and deck area are right on the lake and a great place for entertaining and relaxing.
Also on the main level is the beautiful and private master suite. The master suite has hardwood floors throughout, a sitting area with a television and French doors leading to the patio and lake. The bathroom is spacious with his and her sinks, a lighted shower and a jetted tub. The closet is big enough to use as a private changing area so we have included a full length mirror and an additional dresser. You won't run out of towels, linens or extra pillows. This private getaway is perfect for reading or watching television, relaxing or just having some time to yourself. Hopefully you won't have to, but if you need to do a little work, you can still watch the fun from your sitting area while getting things done.
Upstairs, on the second level, there are three bedrooms with private or adjoining baths and a forth bedroom, a kid's getaway with twin beds and toys. There is a lakefront king bedroom with a Jack & Jill bathroom, a beautiful queen bedroom and a Jack & Jill bathroom, and a large second master bedroom with a private bath and king bed. This level is great for families with children or just couples enjoying some time away from it all.
On the lower level you have a huge open area with 2 bedrooms joined by a Jack & Jill bath. The first bedroom is lakefront and very private. This bedroom has a king bed and a comfortable chair for reading or relaxing. The second lower level bedroom is nautical with 2 double beds and a view of the front garden area. We find that teenagers choose this room every time. Maybe they like the privacy and the television with easy access to the great recreation area - but whatever the reason, they always want to be here. The lower level has lots to offer with a bar and a 60 inch high def television. The seating is comfortable and easy living. There won't be any boredom here with ping pong, poker, skeet ball, foose ball, air hockey, books, toys and games. The bar comes equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee maker, full refrigerator with ice maker and lots of seating. Another great feature on this level is the second bathroom. Since it's all tile with a huge shower, this full bathroom is perfect for using when you are wet from the lake. We have a beautiful porch on the lower level with lake front seating and a table with chairs for casual dining.
We have saved the best part for last - the amazing back yard and dock! You won't want to leave this oasis until long after dark. You really can't run out of things to do, Four Aqua bikes, 2 youth and 2 adult kayaks, a canoe, three paddle boards, a relaxing hammock, Corn Hole and the wonderful cove will fill your vacation days. You will want to spend your days on the lake kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing or relaxing on the massive dock or swinging on the hammock out back.
Bring life vests for anyone planning to use the water toys. We have a few vests but can't possibly provide sizes for everyone. So, bring life vests!
If you want to go tubing or skiing, boat rentals are available at Lake Arrowhead Marina. The marina is a short drive from the house. No privately owned boats are allowed on Lake Arrowhead. This is not our rule, Lake Arrowhead is a gated community. They will not allow you to bring your boat and will stop you at the gate.
Lake Arrowhead Resort has several hiking trails, tennis courts, and an 18 hole golf course with a new and beautiful clubhouse. Basketball, volleyball and walking trails are also available.
There is a new outlet mall in Woodstock along with some very good restaurants. The outlet mall and restaurants are located about 22 miles from the house.
Canton has several restaurants just 15 miles down a scenic, tree lined road. There is also a large Publix grocery store within a 15 minute drive of Arrowhead.
Visit the Tellus Museum, the Booth Museum of Western Art, or go antiquing around Cartersville and enjoy a good meal. This is about a half hour's drive.
Be sure to go pick fresh produce at orchards in Elijay. The orchards are an hour's drive from Arrowhead.
Check out some of the seven wonders of Georgia including Amicalola Falls and Cloudland Canyon. If you would like to visit Atlanta, you could see the World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, catch a show in the Tabernacle, ride the Sky Wheel, or scream to your heart's content at Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water. You can take in a show at the Fox Theater, visit Stone Mountain or the Atlanta Zoo. For young children, don't miss The Atlanta Theater for Puppetry Arts and Fernbank Children's Museum. If this is your first time visiting Atlanta, have lunch at The Varsity or breakfast at the Marietta Diner - both have been featured on Diner's, Drive Ins and Dives. Most of these attractions are an hour from Arrowhead. There really is so much to see and do here, so don't miss out!

Family reunion/birthday
This house and especially the location was perfect. The property was more than adequate to house all 14 of us. Plus we have 14 extended family members in the area which also came over for a birthday celebration. The family is looking forward to another family vacation/reunion.
