This is our "home away from home" and is a no-smoking/no-vaping vacation spot. Originally purchased by Dick and Carol Crabill (my in-laws), we loved spending quality family time here while our kids were growing up. You can fish or golf nearby, or ski/snowboard about an hour away from this beautiful spot in the country. If you are looking for comfort and charm in a peaceful, serene setting, you'll find it in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a large Great Room that sleeps up to 12 people. Beautiful views of the countryside can be seen from every room in the house. Beds include one Cal King, one Queen, and 2 Twin beds in the bedrooms. One full size leather hide-a-bed is in the living room with an additional leather couch complete with 2 recliner chairs on each end of the couch. A Queen sleeper sofa and full-size hide-a-bed are in the Great Room. Internet access is available throughout the home via a Wifi network. A computer and printer are set up in the Great Room alongside a beautiful baby grand piano. A full kitchen is complete with a dishwasher and everything you need (cookware, dishes, silverware, and a supply of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, flour, sugar, seasonings and a few extras). There is an indoor grill in the kitchen or you can use the propane BBQ outside on the patio. Although we do not have TV service, a large selection of videos and DVDs are available for all ages to view on the large HDTV in the living room or 3 other TVs located throughout the home. The Great Room has an XBox and Nintendo 64 with a selection of games for kids. We also have a variety of board and card games in the Great Room, as well as an old ping pong table in the garage. Two sets of golf clubs are available to use at the nearby golf course. Inside laundry room has a large capacity washer and dryer. Firewood is provided for the wood burning stove in the living room. A patio table with chairs plus a 2-seated glider are located on the back deck overlooking the expansive countryside and breathtaking river view. (However, the patio table and chairs are put away during the winter.) Restaurants and groceries are within a 10 minute drive. This is a great 'getaway' retreat on 3 acres, nestled away from the main road down a country lane, and plenty of parking is provided on the long driveway. The house is close to an 18-hole golf course in Fall River Mills and plenty of fishing nearby in the summer. Mt. Shasta is a 60 minute drive away for winter skiing and snowboarding. This is strictly a non-smoking rental and is the perfect vacation home any time of the year!

Beautiful Home to Stay in
Jayne's property was amazing to stay in with my family. The house is carefully furnished and decorated with a feeling that it's been established for a long time. The communication between Jayne and everyone was great before the stay as well as during the stay. Her place also has everything you need to cook a full meal for everyone as well. We were extremely impressed with Jayne's property.
