hidden gem

We fell in love with this house! It’s totally secluded yet about a mile from anything in town. We have quite a bit of family in Burney and I think the farthest someone had to travel was 1.6 miles to come visit. It’s a great house for a family and kids. Lots of space for them to run around and ride their bikes. We roasted a 22 lb Turkey in the kitchen and had a wonderful late Easter dinner. It was just perfect. We had a hard time leaving and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin! We hope to come back next year.

The cabin is in a great location. It feels isolated but is less than 2 miles away from a Safeway store. We enjoyed hiking at Burney Falls and in Lassen Volcanic National Park and fishing in spring-fed Hat Creek and Fall River. The Burney area is a paradise for the outdoor enthusiast. The cabin is very well appointed, comfortable, and even has a garage! Dotty answered my emails in a timely manner and was a pleasure to do business with. She explains how to access the cabin in an email just prior to arrival and then has instructions for the cabin's use just inside the front door. All of the details were well thought out; easy to follow and made the stay enjoyable. I hope to return next year. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Quiet location feels far from everything, yet right downtown

Great location, close to town & all the sights to see in the area. Great home base.

Friends, fishing and wine !!!

We just left the cabin today. The place was great !!! Lots of space and well maintained. It's in a beautiful location. Close to town without seeing any neighbors. Just 7 miles from great fishing. We will definitely be staying here again. Planning to make it an annual trip.

Fabulous cabin and great location!

We had a great time! Cabin is a beautiful gem, well appointed and nestled amongst the trees. It feels remote, but still close enough to Safeway for that late night ice cream run! Bonus was its central location to fabulous fishing! We are already talking about renting it again!

House in Burney

Well laid out, newer property. Worked well for our fishing trip. A little pricey for us, but a nice place.

Family Wedding

We had an a great time staying at the Burney House! It accommodate all of us, without feeling crowded! Loved the porch on the front, very quiet location, but close to a Safeway store. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for Exploring Lassen and Shasta

The house was perfect us! We spent every day in Lassen where we did some incredible hiking, then hit Shasta on our way out. Burney Falls (a must see!) Was only 10 min away. It was so wonderful to come home each night to our own "private" cabin in the woods. It was so close to the grocery and amenities, but felt isolated in the woods. Cant wait to come back

Wonderful place to stay

It was a beautiful place to stay. The beds were very comfy and a lot of room. Loved sitting on the front porch drinking my coffee in the morning listening to the birds. Very nice place to stay. Would come back again

Nor Cal Road Trip

This cabin in Burney was lovely. Very well equipped and comfortable.
