Cute little house - I'd stay again.

The house was warm and spacious. The neighborhood seemed fine - it's an old part of town and the houses are very close together. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and were very clean. The beds were comfortable and the coverings were nice. A few things we feel it needed: A rain gutter over the front door; larger entry way rugs (it was snowing pretty heavy when we were there and we felt like we tracked in a lot of moisture); perhaps a bench or seat of some kind at the doors; and additional seating in the living room. The garage is convenient, but too short to park our shortbox F250 pickup in. So my sister-in-law parked her van in there! Negatives - The upstairs is a converted attic so the ceilings are quite slanted so watch your head. 2 of the 3 bedrooms have these ceilings - I'm tall so bonked my head often. We felt there was way to many shampoos, conditioners, body washes, etc in the showers. Also, bar soap and loofahs seem unsanitary. There needs to be shelves/counters in the bathroom near the sink for setting your personal toiletries. Not room for that upstairs, but it could be done downstairs (oh, and that fan needed repair and cleaning). There was food in the kitchen cupboard - it might just be us, be we are not interested in sharing strangers opened food. With all that said - it really is a good place to stay. We really enjoyed it.

Good basic accommodations in town

This property is an older home that has been remodeled. The owners have done an excellent job within the limits of dealing with an older property. Everything was very clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed and plenty of extra bedding, towels, etc. Kitchen had everything we needed. There are no regular beds on the main floor, so this might be a challenge for folks with mobility issues. It is billed for up to seven guests, but there is not enough hot water for that many people to shower/bathe (not an issue for us). Parking is limited, so having more than one vehicle is a challenge. The location is extremely convenient to everything in town and a great place to stay at very affordable prices.

Cute property

This property fit our family get together perfectly. It was very roomy and comfortable. The inside was decorated very cute
