Magical little cabin

As two momma bears (and best friends) ourselves, we enjoyed a quiet weekend here with our cubs. It was beautiful and we had lots of fun.

Nice cabin in the woods

Had a nice relaxing weekend at the Mama Bear cabin. Really enjoyed the privacy of the place & our time spent in the spa. Cabin is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We would definitely book this cabin again.

Cute Cabin in the Woods

We enjoyed this relatively simple but cozy cabin in the woods. Everything was as advertised. A nice, relaxing way to get away from the world for a while. Really close to great hikes and scenery. Also, the hot tub was great!

Lovely Cabin

Nearby Nevada City is gem. Purdon Crossing a short drive away has many picturesque swimming holes. And the cabin is lovely and spacious. The summer camp next door is closed 2020 due to the pandemic so it was probably much quieter than it usually is. Hosts were friendly and communicative. I'd go back for sure!

Second Escape to Mama Bear's

This was my second trip to Mama Bear's Cabin. The property is lovely, and the cabin is cozy, comfy, and clean. My sons (5 and 14), husband, and our Boston mix came along. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the deck. The hosts are kind and responsive.

Cute cabin

Cute cozy cabin in a great location for outdoor activities.

Another lovely stay

The mama bear cabin is an oasis of peace in the Nevada county woods. René and Drue really go above and beyond to keep the place lovely, and it shows.

Great place to relax

We loved our stay. The cabin has everything you’d ever want. It’s clean, comfortable and close to town. We’ll definitely be back!

Cozy and peaceful cabin getaway!

We had a relaxing time here! The perfect cabin for a getaway from the busy city—but still a short distance drive from downtown. Well equipped kitchen, cozy rooms, and a nice deck area. Responsive and caring hosts. Will definitely be back again :)

Excellent Place for an Anniversary

This is our second time there and we just love it. The cabin is exactly what a cabin should be and the hot tub under the stars is amazing. You cannot go wrong renting here.
