Description
The 'Alcôva do Arco' located inside the CIty Walls of Faro (Muralhas de Faro) is an independent and autonomous part of the 'Casa do Arco do Reouso'.
This site represents close to 12% of the former village of Harum, now known as the 'Walls of Faro' .
This accommodation also has direct access by the Alley of the Rest, 5-A, next to the main access gate. It is 6600 m2.
It includes the Arco do Reouso, its Albarrãs Towers (century. IX), the Byzantine Tower, the largest section of the visitable Arabian wall and a Well of Phoenician origin.
The space
This 6,600 m2 property in the heart of the historic medieval city of Faro, intramural, has been the subject of conservation and transformation work to place it on the market as a Housing Tourism.
Guest access
Guests have free access to all 6600 m2 and the services of events, artistic or playtime, and F&B, which take place in the garden and outside (address) of the place, on the 'Walls of Faro' / 'Casa do Arco do Rest' (except those private).
Free private parking at 30 meters (Lg. de S. Francisco).
There is 100 meters Taxi-boat (and boats) to Faro Island and Lighthouse Island and other islands.
It has Horticulture activities.
It has cane fishing and sausage activities in Ria Formosa with experienced fishermen (with prior appointment).

Other things to note
The standard base version of the room ? for only two people in double bed.
The room can be equipped with two baby cribs: a portable crib and a normal crib (1.20 m).
For the version of three adult persons or four adult persons (or two more children in adult beds) a bunk bed is placed in place; as a rule this bunk bed is placed in the entrance hall, with the dining area (one table and two chairs) being removed. The bunk bed can be placed in the bedroom but only if so requested by the customer through airBnB.

Really spacious place in the center of Faro
Really spacious place in the center of Faro, right next to the harbour. Host gave a lot of information and provided useful things such as beach towels and a sunshade. Easy check-in and check-out. Only the AC was noisy, apart from that very nice place to stay, even for more than 2 people!

Joao is a very friendly and accommodating host, he gave us clear instructions on how to find the place and many helpful information about the area. We only stayed for one night, we are glad we found this place. It located right in the city centre , the access from the backyard leading directly to the old wall, and the view over there is amazing. The room was clean, shower was good and the bed was very comfortable. High recommended.

Joao made us feel really welcome. There was a fiesta on in the square and Joao secured us free entry and drinks. The location is great, slap in the middle of the old town with a cracking restaurant just around the corner.

Joao was amazing!
Joao was amazing! The location is close to museums, restaurants and shopping. There is a taxi boat to the beach within walking distance. The property is part of the historic wall for the old city which has wonderful views when you go up onto the wall. There is a rooftop bar with music open on weekends but it wasn’t bad for us, just know it is there. Homey accommodations but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Thank you, Joao!
