Located just 5 km from Camaiore, Il Mandarino is a rustic and comfortable semi-detached house that has been recently renovated. It sits in the peaceful hamlet of Pedona, offering a quiet and sunny retreat for your vacation. The house is situated on an elevated position on a slope, providing beautiful views of the surroundings. The property is just 14 km away from the sea, making it an ideal base for exploring the nearby beaches and coastal towns.
Il Mandarino features a private and well-kept terraced garden that spans 300 m2. The garden is a wildlife haven, filled with beautiful flowers that add to the property's charm. The above ground swimming pool measures 3.50 m in diameter and has a depth of 110 cm. It is available for use during the season from May 14th to September 17th and has an internal staircase. The property also offers Internet access, ensuring that you stay connected with the rest of the world during your stay.
The house has a weekly linen change service available at an additional charge, and towel change service is also available at an extra cost. The property is accessible by a steep motor road, so a car is recommended. There is a 100 m footpath leading up to the house, and public parking is available just 100 m away. This is a 3-room apartment located on the ground floor with a total of 42 m2 of space. The furnishings are simple and practical, featuring a double bedroom and a room with a single bed. The kitchen is equipped with 2 hot plates, a mini-oven, a dishwasher, a toaster, and an electric coffee machine. There is also a TV in the kitchen.
The bathroom features a shower, bidet, and toilet. Gas heating is available for an additional cost. The apartment also includes an 8 m2 terrace with terrace furniture, a barbecue, and 3 deck chairs. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the valley.
Additional amenities include a washing machine, iron, children's high chair, and baby cot for up to 2 year olds (extra), as well as a hair dryer. Internet access is available through WiFi. Please note that only 1 pet/dog is allowed and the TV channels are in Italian.

Surprise upon arrival
The drive to the location was exceptional and the restaurant in the village is amazing however communication was difficult with property manager I was told to call directly for access, but he only spoke Italian which I unfortunately did not. Luckily the neighbors spoke English and were able to communicate for us. He informed them that the agency never told him of our arrival so he did not have all things ready. The place was listed as rustic however I would have called it rundown, the appliance and household items are all very dated some listing items such as TV and Grill were missing they also did not have any of the basics on site that we have found with other stays from Vrbo (ie. hand soap basic kitchen amenities) the pool was listed as seasonal however it was covered in an old tarp secured with rope and rocks making that area Unaccessible. The garden bench almost broke when my wife sat on it (135lbs) we would summarize the garden area was not well kept as per the listing info(again maybe that is just a seasonal thing ). The place was dark and dingy with the kitchen area smelling of cat pee . All in all I would not recommend this place, it was so bad for us we left a day early and can say it was the best thing about our stay.
