The Villa Rucellai Bed and Breakfast is a family owned and operated business started in 1985. Each room has a double bed or two single beds with private bath. Some rooms have room for extra beds. The Villa was built in various periods beginning in medieval times. In the heart of Tuscany, pleasant and quiet, Villa Rucellai is the ideal base for easy access to the main historic-artistic centers of Tuscany (Florence km.22, Pistoia km.20, Lucca km.60, Pisa km.78, Arezzo km.100
The space
The peace and tranquility of Canneto make your stay a unique experience. Every room has a private bathroom, and every guest has access to the shared, public spaces in the Garden, the Loggia and the Living Room.
The Villa is an historic place, built over several time periods, beginning in the medieval. Guest rooms are located on various levels of the house and there is no elevator. Rooms are unique in size, but each is comfortable and efficient.
Guest access
Check-in is from 14:00 to 19:00. If your travel plans require check-in at a time outside of these hours please let us know so the proper arrangements can be made. We ask, in any case, that you let us know the time you expect to arrive, and to let us have a telephone contact where you can be reached in case of delays or change of plans.
Check out time is 10:00.

Check-in outside of the regular reception hours is possible by making arrangements with us by phone or e-mail.

I had an amazing stay during August at Villa Rucellai! Giovanni was very friendly and was able to give me information about food hotspots and places to visit. The place was very quiet and and an amazing house for relax after good and fresh breakfast! I will definitely come again. :)

It is just like on the pictures, but better.
It is just like on the pictures, but better. We were in room 1. The bed and the sheets were great, we had the best sleep in here comparing to our other reservations. The villa is peaceful and quiet, perfect place to relax. If you go without a car it is a bus ride and a 15 min walk from the center of Prato - buses didn’t come in time so we missed about 2, you really have to sit in the bus stop and wait - we arrived later than promised, but they were flexible. Close to the last bus stop there is a little shop, and in walking distance from the villa there are some nice restaurants.

Villa Rucellai is a unique historic experience. A beautiful villa and beautiful gardens! And the family Piqué running it is very kind and gave wonderful recommendations for nearby restaurants + best pizza in Prato. Only minus is a train running fairly close to the place. Myself and my wife checked into this villa on the final leg of a motorbike tour. We absolutely loved it,nice welcoming people and the location is beautiful. We loved having breakfast on the terrace. Motorbike was perfectly safe too which was important to us for our travelling. Would definitely return in the future.

Awesome experience at a remote villa. We felt like royalty at the antique castle. Friendly owner, amazing hospitality, hosts went extra mile and provided extra bed for our toddler and gave us bigger room. Awesome breakfast with breathtaking view of Tuscany.
