Description
Meati is a 400 year old country house on 3 levels less than 5 km from the walled city of Lucca. It is a 3,600 square metres property and has been lovingly restored to seemlessly combine historic Tuscany with natural materials and modern features to provide every comfort. Set in beautiful countryside yet near to Lucca and close to the Versillian coast, it’s a wonderful place to spend your holiday.
The space
The propertyhas a newly constructed large pool with a covered gazebo dining and relaxing area and plenty of sun loungers and chairs. There is a large private garden and newly built electric gates to the front.
Inside the villa there are original cotta floors throughout, high wooden beamed ceilings, fire places, stone steps, a marble topped chrome Dadakitchen , power showers. plus 2 large baths.
The ground floor has a large open plan lounge and entrance hallway with a large archway between the kitchen and the living space. There is a second lounge and separate dining room and sun room.
On the first floor there is a very large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There are a further 3 large bedrooms, the 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms; one with double sinks and a shower, the other with a bath, shower and sink.
In the second floor there is a double bedroom and bathroom. All bathrooms have stone and slate surfaces with Villery and Boch porcelain.

The villa was spotlessly clean in a beautiful area. Large and spacious with a lovely pool area and very well appointed. Alexandra was extremely welcoming and met us on arrival. She gave us loads of information about things to do and kindly booked us a restaurant for our first evening and a beach club. We had a wonderful stay.
