The spacious and convivial dining room with its traditional log fire is perfect for relaxing and sharing stories at the end of the day. Windows on all three side provide spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Throughout the year, Lauvitel Lodge retreats and workshops combine wellbeing practices such as yoga and t’ai chi, mindfulness, meditation, reiki, and massage with being outdoors in nature and benefiting from the stillness, power and beauty of the mountains. Whatever brings you here, you will find ample time and space to reconnect with yourself and the support and guidance you need.

Other things to note:

In the Heart of a Cyclist’s Paradise:

with miles of mountain roads, famous climbs and thrilling descents. Whether you are here for a particular event such as Alpe d’Huzes, the Marmotte, the Tour de France, the Marco Pantini, or to enjoy the cycling in your own rhythm, there is an incredible choice of rides in a relatively small area.

Parc des Ecrins is our Back Garden:

A short walk from our front door lays the Parc des Ecrins. Famous for the alpine climbs, the GR 54, and walking for families and mountain veterans alike, the trails are breath-taking. With its mixture of verdant forests, rivers and streams, sumptuous lakes, flower-filled alpine meadows, steep cliffs and high snowy peaks there really is something for everyone…

Adventure activites on your doorstep:

The Veneon valley boasts one of the best selections of summer mountain activities you are likely to find anywhere. Apart from cycling, walking, climbing and skiing you can also turn your hand to climbing in the trees at adventure park, ascending the cliffs on via ferrata, cooling off in white water rafting, flying on the wind with a parapente, or simply exploring the mountain roads and villages

Upon arrival we met with Caroline who was happy to give an elaborate explanation of the lodge.

Upon arrival we met with Caroline who was happy to give an elaborate explanation of the lodge. Communication with Caroline was pleasant during our stay. The lodge is situated in an absolute stunning environment and there is plenty of room for large groups. The facilities in the kitchen are suited for big groups. Would definitely recommend the lodge for big groups, especially when they are into hiking or cycling.

Really nice accommodation, beautiful location. Maria and Caroline were really helpful and kind.
