Charming Casa Near Town and Hidden Beaches

Description

Casa Risa is a two bedroom home nestled in the South part of town near hidden beaches*, yet only an 8 minute walk (no hills) to Sayulita Plaza and 10 minutes to Sayulita Beach. Perfectly situated so everything is walkable but far enough away from the late night sounds of town.

The Casa has a tranquil beach vibe and offers an open floor plan with high arched ceilings. Risa also has a covered patio surrounded by a garden where you can lounge in a hammock. The living room has 3 large built-in sofas to cuddle up on and watch Netflix when you are not at the beach or touring around town. The bathroom boasts a beautiful walk-in stone shower that is just heaven after a long beach day. The bedrooms are equipped with AC, plenty of closet space, and unlike the rock-hard beds found throughout Mexico, very cozy memory foam topped mattresses.

Casa Risa comes with free WiFi, a full kitchen, AC in the bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout, 100% cotton sheets, quilts and towels, TV with Netflix, Logitech speaker dock, bottled drinking water, kitchen supplies and a few other touches to make your stay enjoyable. We also provide beach towels, boogie boards, and a beach umbrella.

Casa de Risa means “House of Laughter” and we hope that you will create many joyful memories during your stay with us in magical Sayulita.

* Playa de Los Muertos (Beach of the Dead which is named for the beautiful cemetery it is located next to) is a short 15 minute walk. This beach has minimal vendors, plenty of shade and gentle waves. A life guard is on duty most of the time and the roped off swimming area gives you a chance to play in the waves and float around in the water safely. Unlike the North side of Sayulita which has rip currents and is near the water treatment plant, the South side is the more clean and pristine Mexico experience you crave. And in just a 20-25 minute walk from Casa Risa is Playas Carricitos, Patzcuaro and Patzcuarito. While caution should be used while swimming or bodysurfing these beaches, the beauty and remoteness is highly desirable for meditation, yoga, or reading a good book. Exceptional

Our stay at Casa Risa was even better than we anticipated, and is so thoughtfully set up and decorated for your comfort and has all necessities for your home away from home! We used the beach umbrella and beach chairs almost every day as well as boogie boards! we loved the hammock and table out front provides a beautiful courtyard with flowers and plants you feel like our in the jungle! The beds are SO comfortable, air conditioning units work great. Kitchen has every amenity you could think of and the neighborhood is quiet. Beautiful open shower and cleaning services once a week. Leah and Ali are quick to respond with any questions and respect your privacy as they live upstairs in a separate unit. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was or how amazing Leah and Ali are ! we will be back!!

Lovely little Casa

Was prepared for the roosters and the walking... not so much for the construction noise and the explosions leading up to the Saint Guadaloupe celebrations. Really really appreciated the super helpful details regarding food recommendations. Neither of us got sick and we even braved some of the local produce and cooked our favorite scramble!
