Description

New One Bedroom Home In Quiet, Wooded Neighborhood Near River And The Old Mill
If you love the ability to walk most anywhere in town, yet love a quiet place to sleep, this is a perfect location. Take a stroll along the river to the Old Mill where you'll find more than 10 restaurants, wine tasting, shops, theater and the Les Schwab amphitheater concerts and/or festivals. The downtown area with numerous breweries is within 2.25 miles. Walk or borrow the cruiser bikes available for your use. Mt. Bachelor is an easy 22 mile drive.

The casita is a 535 SF, one bedroom, one bath with high ceilings in the living area. Finished with all colored concrete floors helps keep allergens to a minimum. The kitchen has everything you need, including a mini dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer set in the bathroom. If there is anything else you need, just ask.

Sleep comfortably in the queen Simmons Beautyrest pillow top mattress in the bedroom. For additional guests, there is a new LA-Z Boy couch with a queen sized memory foam mattress and an additional memory foam topper for added comfort.

There is a TV in the living area, but not in the bedroom. There is no cable, but there is an HD antennae which gets the major networks: CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, and local news. Guests are welcome to use my Netflix account.

There is a private patio surrounded by the huge volcanic rock with a small patio table and chairs, BBQ and fire pit.

While this property is not ADA approved, it is a single level home with only one step on the patio and one step at the entrance.

Clean and close to everything!

Very nice place for the two of us enjoying a week in Bend. Clean, cozy and close to everything!

We love The Casita, Jill and Bend!

The home is very clean, super well stocked with everything that you might need, in a good location to walk to everything, and or drive, and Jill is fantastic! We love Bend and have been all times of the year and even when it’s chilly the house stays warm and cozy. I imagine that when it’s warm outside this would be a great location with its proximity of the river, ability to use bikes and close to walk to the old mill. Thanks Jill for a fabulous price, place and stay!! -Kendall and Kyle

Clean, Cozy, Great Location, No DVD Player

The Good: This house is warm, inviting and clean as a whistle. We loved the layout, the kitchen had everything we needed, the location is fantastic. Just a few minutes to the highly recommended Deschutes River Trail. We’d give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. A few quibbles: The VRBO description of this house said (and still says as of today) “Netflix and DVD’s are also provided or bring your own.” Well, there’s no DVD player, so don’t bring your own. To Jill’s credit, she came right over and reset her Netflix account so we could use it. Unfortunately the streaming quality was subpar. The floors are concrete, so bring warm socks/slippers in winter. And, in our opinion, the bed was just OK. It sags towards the middle. The shower on the other hand (and pretty much everything else) was amazing.
