In the event more space is needed the Casita may be booked for an additional fee, it has a queen bed, bath & kitchenette. FREE WIFI - works GREAT. The main living, dining, and kitchen are open and spacious so you will never feel crowded. Everyone can join in the fun, whether preparing a meal or snacks in the kitchen, playing billiards or swimming.
Any time of year you can enjoy activities ranging from cycling, hiking, kayaking, surfing, golfing, fishing, and of course just relaxing. Sightseeing or wineries at the top of your list? The historical Hearst Castle is about an hours drive north, there are 2 of California's missions to tour and our region is at the top of the list for world-renowned wineries, so many it will take you more than one visit to visit them all. On a clear night, the stars (not city lights) light up the sky and we are so close to the beaches you can choose from more than a dozen and be at most within half an hour. If car shows are on the top of your list there is at least one a month in the area. This home has covered parking and an abundance of space so there is no need to worry about your vehicle - there is enough parking for all.
Summer evenings are warmer than the beach or southern locations yet we are cooler than the northern sister city of Paso Robles. For the little ones there is the Paso Robles Fire House Museum; the Atascadero Zoo, paddle boats at Atascadero Lake & Mr. Putt-Putt's miniature golf. After a fun-filled day, you can come back - enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub or take a dip in the pool. This vacation home truly has it all.
The Casita is also ideal for a romantic stay. The Lodge and Casita are not rented to different parties at the same time so if you have rented the main Lodge you will not have anyone other than your invited guests on site. The same is true if you have rented the Casita. So bring the family, invite your friends and have a wonderful vacation at the Gateway to the Central Coast.

Very comfortable for us.
Our group of 3 couples and 2 children enjoyed the space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and large; the stove and refrigerator were excellent for this size house. There were plenty of chairs for the dining table and lots of china and tableware available for meals. We loved the pool table and hot tub - we may return during swim season to enjoy the pool.
